Leeds United's Mark Viduka wants to quit Elland Road before the start of the new season.

Viduka has held talks with manager Peter Reid - and has made it clear he does not see his long-term future at Leeds.

Chelsea are poised to renew their interest in Manchester United's Juan Sebastian Veron - despite Sir Alex Ferguson insisting he hopes he stays at Old Trafford.

Ferguson admitted Chelsea had made a bid to buy the Argentine but the 28-year-old wanted to fight for his place at United.

Wolves are holding talks with Italian star Dino Baggio over a possible move to Molineux.

The 32-year-old is in the Midlands meeting chief executive Jez Moxey and boss Dave Jones.

Baggio is leaving Lazio on a free transfer and landing his signature would be a major coup for the Premiership new boys.

Nottingham Forest have completed the loan signing of Manchester United midfielder Michael Stewart.

The 22-year-old Scotland international will spend the season at the City Ground, having rejected a similar approach from Forest's Division One rivals Burnley.

And then the scenario will be:

they'll have all their money at the beginning of the season but not the bunch of 'allstars' they wanted ... the season will start and move on and then after a few months they'll perhaps succeed in buying a few top players, who will by that time be unavailable to play in the CL (as they will have played with their ex-club in the league already that season) and then a few months later their new chairman will be arrested for fraude and liability with the Russian maffia ...

That last bit is of course the least likely to happen

I was hoping for the last bit to happen. lol

I dont see how a bunch of allstars can help them to win the title. They need time to play together and they are supposed to secure Veron this week. I really hope that one doesnt happen.
