You never know he may be brillaint this season. |

| I know I'm behind, but I read the details today about that Russian and Chelsea ... crazy!!
I'd be so shocked if it would revealed later he had dealings with the Russian mob in the past ... oh man, I'd be shocked |

| West Ham have accepted an undisclosed offer from Chelsea for full-back Glen Johnson.
The 18-year-old forced his way into the first team towards the end of last season and produced a series of composed performances at full-back.
In that time he established a reputation as one of the English game's brightest young talents despite the Hammers eventually being relegated from the Premiership.
"West Ham United can confirm that following discussions with Glen Johnson and his advisors, we have accepted an undisclosed offer from Chelsea," read a West Ham statement.
"Glen has been given permission to discuss personal terms with Chelsea."
Johnson, who could cost Chelsea in the region of £6m, would be the first signing of a new era at Stamford Bridge under the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. |

| Australian international Brett Emerton has joined Blackburn from Feyenoord for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year midfielder has signed a four-year contract and is expected to join the squad for pre-season training within the next few days, although the transfer is still subject to the granting of a work permit.
Rovers chief executive John Williams revealed the Lancashire club were "absolutely delighted" with Emerton's arrival.
Emerton will be a useful addition to the Blackburn midfield following the sale of David Dunn and Keith Gillespie earlier this week. |

| Inter's doing some big moves ... after signing ex-Club Brugge player Fadiga, today they agreed with Ajax on the transfer of Andy van der Meyde ... Inter's weakest line last season was the midfield, they clearly understood the signal
On the other side I'm sad to see another top player leave Ajax ... then again they'll grab some big bucks again |

| Blackburn have rejected two official bids from Chelsea for winger Damien Duff, BBC Radio Lancashire reports.
Rovers chief executive John Williams is refusing to disclose the size of the offers.
However, he confirmed Duff has an escape clause in his contract which allows him to talk to other clubs if they offer a certain figure.
BBC Sport understands that sum is £17m.
Williams admitted the bids were "close" to that figure and that could prompt Chelsea to return with a new bid. |

Seville president Jose Maria del Nido claims Arsenal have made a £10m bid for their teenage striker Jose Antonio Reyes.
The 19-year-old has scored eight goals in each of the last two seasons and Highbury boss Arsene Wenger is tipped to return with a bigger offer.
However, Arsenal's first approach has been mocked by the Spanish club.
"We haven't so much rejected Arsenal's offer as laughed our socks off about it.
