I agree on that one, I mean even if a player is happy, there are always rumours that are based just on speculation and lies..

Well we're living in a sports world where a chairman of a club or a manager only has to say: 'player x plays well, I enjoy watching him play' and BOOM, the media and press turns it into: 'club x and manager x will put everything possible into play to get player x to sign ...'

It's sad.

Exactly.

To get back on topic again, I have a feeling it won't be long anymore before the big Italian clubs start making name on the transfer market this summer. I'm actually surprised they stay this absent for so long. Things might get excitement once they start acting up. I'm sure looking forward to it. The two Milanese clubs didn't succeed in beating Juve for the title so they might resort in buying some new players and possibly seeling some others. Lazio Roma got a huge financial burst and thereby could possible join the transfer market again. And AS Roma ... they'll have it difficult to keep Totti, who won't have any problems finding a new club ...

Yes I think the big clubs will have to make a move for someone and Barcelona look as if they will have to bring in someone to try and satisfy their fans but who they can bring in is a different matter, a lot of the players want Champions League action.

Yes most players want CL action, which Barcelona can't offer them ... but I still believe they'll make some big moves this summer ... new manager and new chairman ... I'm sure the fans will tear won the stadion if they miss out of the CL again ... damn, with their name, status and financial standings they should be a big title contender every year.

They should be doing really well and they need to do something and their chairman will have to bring in someone to attract attention for the right reasons back to the club.

Yes and players like Riquelme and Saviola have to be used to their full potential damnit and not like last season!

Dutch defender Jaap Stam officially said that he wants to join one of the Big Italian Three (Inter, AC, Juve), I'm sure at least one of them three will find space for the strong central defender.

I also read that Harry Kewell will most likely have decided by the end of the week whether he's moving to Arsenal or Liverpool.
