Note: I never thought of this until yesterday.
Football, basketball, and hockey teams use the same term "Field Goals." There may be a different meaning to the term for each sport but I thought it was kind of interesting to know, because usually we don't pay attention to that kind of stuff. |

um Hockey doesnt use the term field goal.

Football, basketball, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, badminton, volleyball, and hockey teams use the same term "WIN" There may be a different meaning to the term for each sport but I thought it was kind of interesting to know, because usually we don't pay attention to that kind of stuff. | |

you might be thinking of "save percentage" or "goals against average" but i promise you there's no field goals, and there's defintely no field goal percentage.
