| Sid @ Sin = ? | | WCW SIN 2001:
Sid Vicious broke his leg when he jumped off the turnbuckle to nail Scott Steiner. This of course, was not a part of the storyline. Steiner however gladly added this tragedy to his reputation repeating numerous of times how he broke Sid Vicious' leg. Sid was never heard from again afterwards.
Now my question... has anybody heard anything from Sid and how he's doing? I wonder where he's at and if he's still able to wrestle. |

| That image is sickening! Shit. How is it possible for a bone to break into that position? It doesn't even look like it broke at a joint? It looks like it broke right in the middle of his shin or something. |

Something went wrong when he landed which caused this to happen. It all went very fast, and I was stunned with the question whether or not this was part of the storyline. Seeing as how the show just kept on going. Road Warrior Animal was introduced who ran in to beat up Sid. But the injury looked real on TV, as you can see in the picture, and it wasn't much later that it indeed was confirmed to be real.
A rough ending for the Millennium Man. |

| He will be back!
Okay well ... I got the video of that (the end of the match - not the end as was planned)
Sid went up top, Scott was down on one knee. Sid went for a flying closeline, but Scott moved out of the way, making Sid land on one leg ... then his ankle snapped ... it's not his leg, it's his ankle bone, which was completely ripped apart ... he's had many surgeries every since. I do know that the doctors told him, if and I said IF we would ever wanna make a comeback, it would take him at least 3 or 4 years, due to the seriousness of the injury ...
So there's still hope I guess (hope) |

| His ankle? Look at the picture. His entire foot looks to be in tact, including the ankle. It looks like the break is right in the middle of his shin bone. Half of his shin and his entire foot is hanging limp. Am I misinterpreting the image? |

I'm no doctor ... it's hard to explain ... his ankle was split, the 'rupture' was going from his ankle, up to his shin ...
You have to know that his foot was pratically sperated from his leg ... only his muscles were holding the two together ... the bone (ankle bone) was completely cut in pieces (sort to speak) ... |

| A decision which had to be made (Sid) | | Sid broke his leg in horrific fashion live on the Sin PPV in the dying days of WCW, and will never regain full mobility of the leg. The injury will prevent him from working again in the ring.
That's really sad, yes the accident was horrible, as his leg/ankle was nearly seperated in two pieces. The worst thing is that he'll be suffering from it for the rest of his life ... |

| Powerwrestling ... one of the biggest wrestling info/fan sites.
It's very sad indeed ... not just for him as a performer, but for him as a human ... |
