| Well McCarthy is gone ... most got what they wanted
And Keane, well we all know he has great football skills, but we also know (or have to admit) that he's hard headed, always wants it his way, way too aggressive and has a f*cked up character ... |

I will support Roy 100% always and he had valid reasons for leaving Saipan. The FAI were the problem. |

| Well yes sure, aggression is part of his game, it's actually part of the game called football ... but his aggression is easily turned into dirtiness ... why else does he have such a list of suspensions already? (through the years) |

| I dont see the point in arguing this, Roy means a lot to me and he gets picked on because he isnt "English" and not the captain of England. Roy, we need you and we love you and he is certainly NOT DIRTY. I will defend Roy until I die.. |

| Good luck with that
I think he has great skills, he's a leader on the field and works hard ... he's sometimes just a bit too 'aggressive' in certain duels (tackling, air duels) and he's rather very injury prone ... |

| Roy is the best player ever to come from Ireland and we are extremely proud of him and he deserves to be leading the team again. |

| John Toshack has ruled himself out of the running for the Republic of Ireland job by taking over as coach of Italian Serie B side Catania.
His move to Italy has led to former Middlesbrough boss Bryan Robson being installed as the new bookies' favourite to replace Mick McCarthy.
Former Liverpool striker and Tranmere boss John Aldridge and Luton Town manager Joe Kinnear are also strongly tipped.
Toshack has coached Real Madrid, Swansea, Sporting Lisbon, Real Sociedad and Deportivo La Coruna.
He has also had spells at the helm of Besiktas, St Etienne and the Welsh national team.
Catania sacked their previous coach Maurizio Pellegrino after their 2-0 home defeat by Napoli on Tuesday.
They are currently fourth-bottom in the second division of Italian football.
The 53-year-old completed discussions with Luciano Gaucci, whose family own both Catania and Serie A club Perugia, on Thursday.
A statement on the club's website, released around 1030 GMT on Thursday, said: "John Benjamin Toshack is the new trainer of Catania Football Club.
"The agreement with the Gaucci family was completed a few hours ago in Rome."
Toshack's first game in charge will be on Monday when the team travels to Tuscany to take on Siena. |

| I am sure he had his reasons for that but I doubt that managing a Serie B team in Italy is better than to manage the Irish Team |
