i think its hould be due to some facts.
its one of teh most popular sports all over the world with millions of ppl watching it and a country like the US should really invest a bit more in such an important sport

when thinkin about WC, u could see there that there would be a certain potential in the US and i think they would be capeable to be realyl good when careing for for that sport

no school should encourage a sport just because its the most popular sport which is kinda screwy because less and less ppl play it every year. Soccer is offered at school in the states. Soccer isnt that important and never will be important to Americans because it is boring and will always be boring. Americans love their Baseball, Football, Hockey, and Basketball. If u look at high school sports you can tell what the dominate sport is by where the school is located because that is the tradition it has and soccer has no tradition in the US. I mean Indiana is known for its Basketball, Texas is known for its Football, and Minnesota is known for its Hockey. kids growing up in the US dont dream of playing in the MLS or World Cup. they dream of playing the the NBA championship or the Stanley Cup or the World Series or the Super Bowl.

You know people always say Soccer is going to be huge in the US its the next big thing, blah, blah. I don't think its ever going to happen. I respect the people that play the game and respect the skill they have but I'm sorry its just boring. Not enough scoring. Football and Basketball are such great sports to watch on TV and its fast moving. Every play in football there's a hit. Baseball although pretty boring to watch on TV is probably the best game to go to the stadium to watch of the four major sports with hockey coming in a close second. America just doesn't get soccer and I doubt it ever will. Not trying to be mean or anything its just the truth. Maybe Women's soccer can get big for women but never Men's. Guys just don't care about soccer.

I believe it should be because soccer or football to me is a great sport and is known worldwide, sport is essential to children.

There not as much scoring becasue it actually takes skill to do it unlike American sport which is either hit is as far as you can or throw it down the other end, no skill involved. Also not as much scoring means that when you do score it is a sense of achievement.

what skill is there in soccer kick the ball and chase after it. Soccer has as much skill as Golf, hit the balll walk up to it and hit it again. Baseball isnt hitting the ball as far as you can its hittin the ball where the fielders arent and running the bases properly. Football isnt just throwing the ball to the other end of the field its moving the ball down the field by using mismatches. When you score in football, baseball, or Hockey (which is the hardest of the three) is a sense of achievement because you know that the play you ran worked properly or your team put enough hits together to score a run. i would like you to try and hit a baseball coming at you at 90 MPH or put on a pair of skates and try and score a goal or how about stopping a 300 plus pound guy from kiling you and your QB or RB.
