Big Grin Serie A

Who do you think will win the Scudetto this year?

Lazio is out of the picture ... they bought Chiesa (he had his best years), Sorin (decent defender) and that's it ... and they sold Nesta, Mendieta, De La Peņa, Crespo and Baronio ... so they won't be significant in the title race ...

Inter got some really strong reinforcements They only lost Ronaldo (they're better off without him, cause he was unhappy in Italy ) and they bought Crespo, Almeyda, Cannavaro and Adani ... They're my #1 title favorite this year. The have a great manager with Cúper and they play from a solid defence with good, fast, timed attacks

Ac Milan, same story as for Inter. They also got some great reinforcements ... but they also lost a few good players ... They now have Nesta, Rivaldo and Dalla Bona (2 wonderful players and 1 very decent player), but on the other hand they lost José Mari, Albertini, Donati and Domoraud. And the also the story with Redondo and Rui Costa. Two very good, technical midfielders, but both had a lot of injuries the past two seasons ... Now Shevchenko is injured till the end of Octobre ...

AS Roma, same squad as last year. No one left and no significant new players ... good deal, they rely again on the squad from last year. They rely on the triangle Totti-Montella-Batistuta ... but last year this proved not to be enough to get the title ... why would it be different now, especially with Batigol being a year older once again, 33 now already ... and it's starting to show ...

Juventus, the current champ. They won the Sudetto last year on the last competition day. Talk of excitement They lost Brighi and bought Di Vaio to replace him ... so basicly they're counting on the same squad as last year. The squad that did it last year. So basicly they can do it again, cause they have the same talent

End prediction:

#1 Inter
#2 Juventus
#3 AC Milan
#4 AS Roma

I don't expect Lazio in the top 5 ...

Well, Iīm not so familiar with the Seria A as you are. I only hear and see some things. Itīs probably the competition which I see less.

Anyway, if I read and conclude all the things you wrote about the transfers from each team, this is my prediction:

#1: Inter/AC Milan
#2: Juventus
#3: AS Roma

And I agree with you, I personally donīt find Lazio that good. But who do you think will be #5 then in the list ?

Chievo is a little club which did great last year, I see them do the same this year

And Parma can hopefully come back after a few bad years ...

Cool

I don't know much about Serie A but I would like to see one of the Milan clubs win it this year.
