If AC doesn't win tonight, that's bad for them, cause that means they're pretty much eliminated for the title. Therefore that might give the advantage to Inter, as they'll have to play AC at a point AC realizes the title is gone and they'll have to put everything on the CL then ... I think that'd be a rather good scenario for Inter.

A great goal by Shevchenko, a goal by Tudor on a Nedved free kick and a rather 'Pippo' goal by Inzaghi decided yesterday's match on 2-1 in favor of Milan. WIth that Milan keeps their small title chances still alive. Inter can be the big winner today if they beat Udinese and with that take place again next to Juve at the number 1 spot.

The hero of AC was Dida, in the first half he made a fatal mistake which made it 1-1. But in the second half he pulled off some magnificant saves to keep the score 2-1. Milan dominated before half time, Juve after half time.

The chance is small indeed, but alright I'll admit Milan could get the title ........

........ but personally I don't believe in it.

Udinese - Inter starts within an hour ... if Inter wins, they join Juve at the #1 spot again.

I assume you agree with me now that it's over for Milan concerning the title.

Juventus is 5 points ahead now of Inter. I still think there are chances, but it's going to be a tough week for Inter .... CL and in the weekend AC Milan.

Ac is indeed out of it ... extra bad news for Ajax that is!

Inter's 5 points behind ... still possible though ... 7 matches left, that's 21 points to win or to lose.

Inter - Roma of last weekend was simply amazing ... especially the second half, what football! It was 0-0 at half time ...

Then Roma got to 0-1. Inter came back and scored three times, making it 3-1, then Roma replied and scored twice ... making it 3-3. In the final minutes both Batistuta and Montella hit the post ... and that all in 45 minutes!

After Inter's CL victory against Valencia (1-0) and AC's CL draw against Ajax (0-0), both teams meet tomorrow, Saturday. This will be derby #263 (Serie A, Coppa Italia and European football combined), giving these matches always an incredible excitement and history.

While pride isa lways at stake when these two meet, Inter can't afford anymore loss of points ... while AC is pretty much eliminated for the title, Inter still isn't ... with 7 games to go, there are still 21 points to gain or to lose. If Inter loses, Juve can pretty much call itself champion.

It looks like it's gonna be one great night of football, at least let's hope so!

This is Inter's remaining fixture schedule:

Inter - Milan

Brescia - Inter

Inter - Lazio

Atalanta - Inter

Inter - Parma

Modena - Inter

Inter - Perugia

Brescia, Atalanta, Modena and Perugia should be the easier targets for Inter. AC is never easy in the derby and neither will Lazio or Parma be, as both of these two are still fighting for the fourth and last remaining CL (for the qualifiation rounds) ticket (= 4th place in Serie A).

Juve's first match is against Bologna, this Sunday evening. Bologna is a home team and it's always risky to drop some points on their field ...

Further schedule:

Bologna - Juventus

Juventus - Roma

Juventus - Brescia

Lazio - Juventus

Juventus - Perugia

Reggina - Juventus

Juventus - Chievo

Brescia, Perugia and Reggina should give the best chances at three points. Roma can always surprise. Chievo and Lazio won't be easy to play against, cause like I said before ... I expect Chievo, Lazio and Parma to battle till the end for that last CL qualification ticket ...

No matter who wins the Serie A this season, I hope the excitement will remain as long as possible, therefore Inter has to win the derby and Juve has to lose against Bologna ... that would bring Inter back to two points behind and then all could happen again ...
