Juve play at 7.30 I think. Come on Juve, you have gotta do this. I saw the highlights of the Milan game.

Sunday 1st May
Inter 2-0 Siena
Juventus 2-1 Bologna
Lecce 5-3 Lazio

Vucinic (Lecce) 3x, Rocchi (Lazio) 3x

Messina 2-2 Sampdoria
Parma 6-4 Livorno

Gildardino (Parma) 4x, Lucarelli (Livorno) 4x

AS Roma 2-2 Brescia
Udinese 2-1 Atalanta

The numbers/results say enough. You'd almost say there weren't any defenders on the field.

It stayed 2-2 and that means Palermo again lose points. And if we look at the ranking, they're probably out for a CLQR ticket.

3. Inter. 62
4. Udinese. 56
5. Sampdoria. 56
6. Palermo. 51

Sixth place does give UEFA Cup though.

And then people say it's the country which has the best defenders.

It does indeed. Both Milan and Juventus have 76 points ( 14 points more than #3 Inter ). Next week will be the big match!

If both teams have the same amount of points at the end, we even get a play-off match which decides the Champion 04/05, more AC Milan - Juventus then ...

That match will decide everything, which way will it go?

Relegation Battle:

15. Parma. 37.
16. Siena. 36.
17. Chievo. 36.
18. Brescia. 35.
19. Fiorentina. 34.
20. Atalanta. 31.

Next week: Chievo - Fiorentina

With 4 matches remaining for all, the battle to survive is still close. Any of these 6 teams could go down .. and given how close mid-table is, 4 of them could yet survive. One match that is of particular interest next weekend is Parma - Roma. Roma, having lost again yesterday, are now 13th with 40 points. A win for Parma would put these 2 level (Roma ahead on GD, unless we see 7-0+)

Luckily for Palermo, the teams directly below them aren't consistant enough to have a realistic chance of taking that away.

Btw - Palermo have 49 points.

.. wouldn't deciding it on GD make more sense!? even though a play-off does sound more exciting.

A playoff sounds fantastic! Wow. Could even be a rematch if the result doesnt go great in the next one!

12 wins (36), 13 draws (13) ... you're right. There's a fault in the ranking on Dutch Teletext.

Honestly, I was just as surprised as you to read about the play-off, but I have a feeling we won't need it.

A full schedule of 10 matches as Spain would also like to have it.

Sunday 8th May
Reggina - Bologna
Chievo - Fiorentina
Brescia - Inter
Milan - Juventus
Sampdoria - Lecce
Atalanta - Messina
Cagliari - Palermo
Parma - Roma --> very important as well
Livorno - Siena
Lazio - Udinese

San Siro: AC Milan - Juventus: What are your views/thoughts on that match?

Parma - Roma is maybe just as exciting as the title match. Montella against Gilardino (both have 21 goals and are topscorer of the Serie A). And as far as the relegation battle is concerned, it can go both ways again. In the Serie A every team can win from everyone! It's surely is going to be a hell of an Italian weekend.
