AC Milan will easily move to the top of Serie A tonight as they're currently leading Parma 3-0 with just over 10 minutes to go. Kaka, Tomasson and Cafu have all found the net for Milan.

Who says a defender can't score?

Sunday 24th April
Atalanta 1-0 Palermo
Bologna 0-0 Fiorentina
Brescia 2-0 Reggina
Chievo 1-1 Cagliari
Livorno 1-0 Lecce
Messina 2-1 Inter Mian
Sampdoria 2-1 Roma

Inter Milan have lost their second match of the season by conceding a very late goal! They took the lead just after half-time, but held it for less than 15 minutes. This win lifts Messina into 8th place, with Livorno's win lifting them to 7th.

In the battle for 4th place, Palermo could have seen their chances fade away today. They're 7 points behind Sampdoria with 15 to play for. Maybe a UEFA Cup will be all Palermo will end up with .. unless they fail to look behind (Livorno and Messina are 5 points behind)

Lazio 9th .. Roma 12th

At the bottom of the table Atalanta take their recent form to 7 points out of 12 and are now 3 points away from safety. They also have one (surprising) advantage over a majority of their relegation rivals.. GD! Atalanta's is -9, with Parma's -17, Brescia's - 13, Fiorentina's - 11, Chievo's - 18 and Siena's - 12. If Atalanta do record more wins they're very likely to be above any of those teams if level on points.

Bottom 6:

15. Siena. 36.
16. Chievo. 35.
17. Fiorentina. 34.
18. Brescia. 34.
19. Parma. 34.
20. Atalanta. 31.
