| The referee had a 'card-giving' evening. Besides Totti, Panucci also got sent off.
AC Milan and Juventus on top, with a 16-point gap to #3 (Inter). |

| It gets worse for Roma.
Franco Baldini’s adventure with the Giallorossi has ended after 5 years.
Just when Roma’s season could not get worse, the news that Baldini resigned from his post as Sports Director has rocked the capital city side and its fans. The decision was taken following a meeting between Baldini and the Sensi family in which the now former Sports Director presented his resignation.
Baldini, who joined the Giallorossi in the 1999/2000 season, had already presented his resignation last November, but back then Sensi refused it.
This is the official club announcement:
“A.S. Roma S.p.A. announces that it has received the resignation from Mister Franco Baldini as Market Consultant of the club. A.S. Roma would like to thank Mister Baldini for the work done for the club and all the contributions given. While taking act of the resignation, A.S. Roma specifies that this resignation, which has arrived three months before the expiry of the relative contract, do not effect the implementation of the company project, which will continue in the optic of valuation of its own park of players, and with the objective of holding a high technical level of the squad to be competitive both in Italy and Europe.” |

I only read that a red card was given to Panucci, I didn't see the summary. |

| Saturday 2nd Apil
Fiorentina - Juventus
Lazio - Livorno
Bologna - Inter
AC Milan - Brescia Sunday 3rd April
Udinese - AS Roma
Atalanta - Chievo
Lecce - Siena
Reggina - Parma
Palermo - Messina
Cagliari - Sampdoria
The topteams don't play each other this weekend, but still we have some interesting matches. 'Cause let's face it, Udinese, Sampdoria and Palermo are topteams as well.
How many can Totti/Cassano/Montella produce against #4 Udinese?
If the relegation teams want to come away from the bottom, this weekend will be the next step. I have a feeling Brescia could be the losing team this weekend ... |
