The big ego of some players. Totti thinks he can do and say everything. Fabio Capello is, so far, the only coach who was able to control Cassano.

If AS Roma don't get CL this season, it's the start of the end ...

Totti and Cassano are really full of their own egos. They think they are too important.

Coppa Italia, Quarter-Finals
Thursday 17th March
Sampdoria (3)3-2(4) Cagliari

Does the Italian Cup use the away goals rule to decide ties?

If football managers had sense then those players would be playing in lower leagues. They don't deserve to have a place in a top club IMO and it might just be one of the few ways to make them learn that they're just a piece in the puzzle when it comes to success.

Unfortunately these big name players know that will never happen and that they can move on if they dont get enough money or are not valued enough. Just look how many times Totti has blasted the clubs own fans!!

News on Cassano:

Antonio Cassano is probably living his last days as an AS Roma player. The Roma fans are extremely irritated by his poor performances of the last months, especially the one the starlet produced against Fiorentina, that saw Cassano come on as a sub late in the game.

In his few minutes on the pitch the Bari-born player was able to miss every pass and fail every dribbling attempt, a horrible performance capped off by the poor penalty he took that almost cost Roma their last seasonal objective.

Some Roma fans went as far as saying their former idol practically missed the penalty on propose, an action they say is backed by the fact he was the only player to not celebrate the team’s dramatic win in Florence.

“The only reason I didn’t celebrate with the rest of my team-mates was because I missed the penalty. I was mad with myself,” Cassano said in his defense.

These words will only partially satisfy those many Roma fans who believe Cassano has already sold his soul to Juventus, as on the day before the early March match against the Bianconeri he made an interview in which he stated he ‘greatly missed Fabio Capello.’

Now that there is both the popular will to let him go and the player’s desire to leave, there is only the financial aspect to be resolved before Cassano can complete his move to the black and white Turin side.

Saturday 19th March
Juventus .v. Reggina
Siena .v. Lazio (19th .v. 14th) - What could Siena possibly do to rescue their Serie A status!?

Sunday 20th March
Chievo .v. Brescia (17th .v. 18th)
Inter Milan .v. Fiorentina
Livorno .v. Cagliari (12th .v. 9th)
Messina .v. Bologna
Parma .v. Palermo - After Palermos heavy defeat last weekend, what could happen eher!?
Roma .v. AC Milan - Should be interesting!
Sampdoria .v. Atalanta
Udinese .v. Lecce

Juventus and AC Milan to win 1-0!?

I predict wins for both Inter Milan, Sampdoria and Udinese in the CL battle and that Palermo might be knocked out of it..

Parma might be back in the relegation zone come Sunday night, especially if Palermo recover from last weekends heavy defeat. With 17th and 18th up against each other - Parma's position is very dodgy indeed!

Agreed! Are you gonna tell it to, for example, Luxemburgo or is it my turn?

I predict Parma to be one of the three relegated teams in the end. Hopefully for Gilardino he can move to another club, but I don't have doubts he can.

Ahh, then Sampdoria would have been psychologically out when Cagliari scored their second goal.

Lets flip a coin to decide!
I do agree with Emma though - it's probably never going to happen. A shame.

I was under the impression that 4 teams are going down, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Whatever way it is, Atalanta are heading down.
