Saturday 12th March
Lazio .v. Inter Milan
Lecce .v. Fiorentina

Tricky tie for Inter Milan. They should be able to pull off a win, although I expect them to have one eye on next Tuesday's CL encounter with Porto.

Sunday 13th March
AC Milan .v. Sampdoria (1st .v. 3rd)
Atalanta .v. Parma - Can Atalanta pull off a great win!?
Bologna .v. Siena
Brescia .v. Livorno (18th .v. 13th)
Cagliari .v. Roma
Chievo .v. Juventus
Palermo .v. Udinese (5th .v. 6th) - Vital for both teams to win, although defeat may not mean a CL dream in over just yet
Reggina .v. Messina (10th .v. 14th)

Saturday 12th March
Lazio 1-1 Inter Milan - Typical! 17/28 drawn for Inter Milan, yet they'll be in a CL place at the end of the weekend.

Lecce 2-2 Fiorentina - Lecce move up to 9th; Fiorentina stay in 15th and are now 3 points above 17th placed Chievo.

They've drawn the most matches in the Serie A, but they've also scored the most goals (50). Who made the Inter goal yesterday?

Sunday 13th March
AC Milan 1-0 Sampdoria - Juventus need to win later on
Atalanta 1-0 Parma
Bologna 1-1 Siena
Brescia 2-3 Livorno
Cagliari 3-0 Roma
Palermo 1-5 Udinese
Reggina 0-2 Messina

Palermo have let in 21 goals in 27 league matches before this weekend .. today they conceded 5 at home! Something odd happened there and that's why I love Football! As a result, they've fallen to 6th below Udinese, who (oddly enough ) climb to 5th. They're still 2 points away from climbing into a CL spot, but todays result shows they have serious intentions about making it into the top 4.

Atalanta are giving it a really good go at the bottom. Today they recorded their 4th win of the season, but that only moved them to within 8 points of Parma. Three wins are still required for survival. Siena and Brescia did their best to pick up more points and the former came out with a point. Both are three points from safety. Chievo remain 17th with 28 points, Parma 16th with 29 and Fiorentina 15th on 31.

Julio Ricardo Cruz scored Inter's goal, which was in the 71st minute.

Sunday 13th March
Chievo 0-1 Juventus

Juve do what AC Milan did in winning 1-0. Hardly anything seperates these two teams again.

08/05/2005 - AC Milan .v. Juventus .. Title decider!?

Del Neri is gone and I think that's a logical decision. AS Roma are almost out of the race for CL qualification and that means misery. They'll probably lose some big players, Totti and Cassano (who maybe goes to Juventus to meet Capello again), and they'll miss the big bucks.

Eventually they'll end as Parma, relegating ...

If nothing weird happens until May 8th, that's probably when everything gets decided.

Yeah both sides are playing amazing and knowing that game will probably end 0-0.

Coppa Italia, Quarter Finals
Fiorentina 1-0 AS Roma

The 1st leg ended in 1-0 for Roma and so penalties were needed. Roma did a better job in taking them and advance to the Semi's.
Ferrari and De Rossi (both Roma) got sent off with a red card.

Udinese 4-1 AC Milan

AC Milan won the 1st leg with 3-2. That was the first proof that cupmatches are different than the normal competition.
Tomasson scored for Milan, but Udinese were on a roll and so they advance.

Thursday 17th March
Sampdoria - Cagliari (0-2)
