The standard of the teams promoted in England isnt as good as the last few years have shown.

Sampdoria and Inter Milan will hold 3rd and 4th place at the end of this weekend. They will have a comfortable gap if Palermo fail to win later this evening. 2 defeats in a row for Roma - maybe they'e out of CL contention.

Fiorentina and Parma both climbed a place today, with Parma moving out of the relegation zone. Chievo have tumbled down 2 places into the relegation zone as a result of the two teams directly below them winning. Brescia boosted their survival hopes by winning at Siena, which moves them from 19th to 18th!
