Seems like Milan had quite a lot of the play then. If they can keep playing like that, they'll beat most of the other teams in the league. Milan have the advantage of a home match against Juventus in 2005 as well. I think the gap will close down soon.

Sunday 19th December
Bologna 2-0 Reggina
Fiorentina 2-0 Chievo
Inter Milan 1-0 Brescia
Lecce 1-4 Sampdoria
Roma 5-1 Parma
Siena 1-1 Livorno
Udinese 3-0 Lazio

Udinese are still in with a title chance after dispatching Lazio 3-0, with all the goals coming in the first-half. Roma have climbed into 6th place - probably their highest place all season! - thanks to a 5-1 demolishing of Parma (how the hell did they beat Besiktas!?) Roma lead 2-1 at half-time, which gave Parma a chance - but by the hour mark it was 5-1 and the match was over as a contest. With Bologna winning at the bottom, Parma are now adrift with Siena.

Sunday 19th December
Palermo 3-0 Cagliari

Palermo move up to fifth place with 24 points. I'm pretty surprised to see the teams that are on the European places at this moment ... it's totally different when you compare it to last year.

Topscorer:

Adriano - 14 goals

^Me too.

Serie A will return on January 6th 2005. Milan will be at home to Lecce, while Juventus travel to Parma. I can see wins for both. The tie that interests me the most is Lazio - Roma.

Do they really need more?

- Van Nistelrooy (alright, it's not his best year, but still )
- Ronaldo
- Saha
- Rooney

Sell Saha, then there's enough room for Adriano. Rooney's still young. He has learning to do, so I expect him to become a much better player in the next few years. Don't forget Smithy too, he's been playing very well this season.

But would Adriano be interested in a transfer to United?

I knew I forgot one.

Now you see how many strikers Manchester have.
