Cash-strapped Lazio have sold Jaap Stam to Italian champions AC Milan for 10.5 million euros after the 31-year-old Dutch defender turned down a contract extension.

AC Milan's Danish international defender Martin Laursen said Monday that he had decided to leave this season's Italian Serie A champions after three years.

Borussia Dortmund's Brazilian defender Dede has confirmed he is in negotiations with Italian giants Inter Milan. Dortmund have offered Dede, 26, a three-year extension to his contract, which expires in 2005.

He went from an amazing, well known defender to an amazing, very underrated defender.

I think a few people around the world will be in for a couple of surprises next season. Stam is still much better than a lot think.
