It seems they want every good player these days, don't they? Maybe they should think about finding some good defenders.
To be honest, I think Totti wants to go to Real and he definately wont be going to Stamford Bridge, thats for sure.
The important match-up between Inter and Parma delivered a great and exciting game. Stankovic's header hit the bar in the 8th minute already! Less than 10 minutes later on the other side, it was Carbona who hit the post after Toldo could get his fingertips on the great shot. Twice the wood and it stayed 0-0 at half time. A hard fought match by both teams.
In the 62nd minute it was substitute Adriano who finally opened the score with a low shot: 1-0. Both teams kept playing well and fighting hard.
In the 78th minute Blasi took his second yellow card after a foul on Adriano: Parma left with 10 ...
Parma didn't think about giving up and they kept going, which produced a very exciting final 10 minutes.
The Inter crowd went completely nuts when it was announced that Brescia had taken the lead against Lazio!
Parma wasn't able anymore to come back from the deficit and Inter took the deserved win: 1-0, a goal by Adriano.
'Brescia - Lazio' remained a close match for a long time. Late in the second half, 81th minute, Mauri opened the score: 1-0. Minutes later 'good old' Baggio made it 2-0! Lazio was able to pull one back in the extra time through Cesar. But it wasn't enough, '2-1' was the final score.
That gives:
4th - Inter 56 points.
5th - Parma 55 points.
6th - Lazio 53 points.
Inter has everything in their own hands. If they win away against Empoli, they take the 4th place and the ticket for next season's Champions League qualification round!
