Injuried or just not good enough anymore? | Vieri didn't play today as he wasn't fit. He was unable to fully train this week as he still had some after effects from last weekend. After Inter's victory against Perugia (2-3), Vieri got hit by a bottle right on his temple. A bottle thrown by a Perugia fan (great fan interaction in every competition lately ... ). He needed a few minor stitches, but he couldn't fully train this week due to a headache.
If nothing goes wrong, he'll be present against Lazio next weekend Quote: Originally posted by brit4ever As Vanessa Williams sang once (I know, totally not your music taste ), we've saved the best for last. | Yes, good for her! |

Quote: Originally posted by brit4ever And he/they get away with such things too often, isn't there something clubs can do about it? More cameras? | Such things are expensive. It's also not easy to monitor the entire area in and around the stadium with cameras. |

And I personally also don't understand what stewards are doing in the public ... like they can stop people who want to fight. I'd almost say that they're risking their lives with such a job. |

But yes, they can be as easily the victim as a neutral and friendly fan can be! |

At least in the Jupiler League Quote: Originally posted by brit4ever Makes me wonder, if you got the opportunity, would you then wanna be a steward ? | Of course not.
You can't fully concentrate on the game.
It's not paid.
Those orange jackets are too tight for me! |

You can't fully concentrate on the game. | But you can concentrate on the girls in the audience ... if there are any. Otherwise you get guys/men who most of the times drunk too much. Money isn't a guarentee for happiness (?) I hear you think ... it is nice to have some though. I agree with ya. Quote: | Those orange jackets are too tight for me! | Diet?
In other words ... nope, being a steward isn't fun. |
