Some good news for Juve (if its true)

Auxerre midfielder Oliver Kapo has signed a four-year contract with Juventus, France Football magazine reported in its Tuesday edition.

The 23-year-old Frenchman is out of contract with the Burgundy first division club at the end of the season and used time during a UEFA suspension to go to Italy and broker a deal, the magazine said.

Kapo signed a contract to start at the Turin club next season pending a medical some time in the future.

It indeed seems that AC Milan has the title. Juventus could still get the second place though. They're only 2 points behind Roma, the excitement isn't over by far.

Inter is down to #7, but with the match against Ancona for schedule this weekend, 3 points for Inter could be the result.

It's typical how there's also in the Serie A a pretty big difference between #3 and #4, just like in the Premier League.

This Wednesday, March 17th:

Coppa Italia Final --> Lazio Roma - Juventus

Who's gonna be the winner there?

That should be a great match, I think Roma will win that unfortunately.

That would be the worst scenario. No title, no Champions League, no Coppa Italia ...

Then the have to get hold of that second place, otherwise they even have to play CL qualification matches.

Injury-hit Juventus are in danger of finishing the season without a trophy after losing 2-0 to financially stricken Lazio in the first leg of the Italian Cup final.

Two second-half goals from midfielder Stefano Fiore - a close range finish and an acrobatic scissor kick - left Juventus with a mountain to climb in the second leg which takes place in Turin on May 12.

Lazio also had the luxury of missing a penalty kick when Cesar Aparecido's weak shot was comfortably saved by Antonio Chimenti, while Juventus finished the game with 10 men after Croatian defender Igor Tudor saw red for an ugly challenge on Cesar.

I'm not counting Juve out for the Cup. The 2nd leg is still far away and they'll most probably have a lot of first team players back!

Gameday 26 Preview:

Udinese - Juventus
Milan - Parma
Ancona - Inter
Bologna - Brescia
Modena - Reggina
Lecce - Perugia
Chievo - Siena
Empoli - Sampdoria
Lazio - Roma

You can never tell what could happen in the second leg, would love to see Juve win that.

Much more than pride and bragging rights are at stake on Sunday when fierce city rivals Lazio and Roma meet in the Rome derby at their shared Olympic stadium. Second-placed Roma need the points to keep the pressure on Serie A leaders AC Milan, while debt-ridden Lazio are desperate to hang on to fourth spot to clinch a place in next season's highly-lucrative Champions League.

Roma have lost ground in the race for the championship following successive away draws at Ancona and Reggina, but their coach Fabio Capello is refusing to throw in the towel with 27 points still left to play for.

"I'm not giving up hope," said Capello, who is taking inspiration from Juventus' Scudetto success last season.

"It will obviously be tough if Milan continue at this pace, but we have the same number of points Juventus had this time last year and they went on to win the title. Therefore I see no reason why we shouldn't believe we can catch Milan."
