Former Leeds United defender Roque Junior has joined Serie A side Siena on loan until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old moved to Elland Road from AC Milan on a season-long loan deal in September.

But the player and his Leeds employers cancelled the contract last week after the Brazilian international made just seven appearances for the Premiership strugglers.

Latest Result:

Inter 4-0 Siena

AC Milan is leading with 48 points, Roma's second and Juvenus third. All have played 19 matches.

The gap between Inter (4th) and the top 3 is quite big.

Inter needs to lock that fourth place, which gives CL.
They need to also focus on the Italian Cup and the UEFA Cup.


They played great yesterday, I watched the match and realy great performances by Stankovic, Adriano, Recoba and Zanetti.
Although the team played very well overall

Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi has been banned for two-months for punching Siena defender Bruno Cirillo.

The suspension, imposed by the Italian Football League, lasts until 29 March - a span of eight Serie A matches.

Materazzi was not even a substitute for the match but hit Cirillo in the face as they entered the tunnel after Inter's 4-0 victory.

In addition, fourth-placed Inter were fined £3,500 for Materazzi's illegal presence on the field.
