Well already more than 33% of the matches is played. The current situation is a fairly decent indicator.

Gameday 14 Results:

Siena - Bologna: 0-0
Perugia - Brescia: 2-2
Milan - Udinese: 1-2
Lecce - Juventus: 1-1
Chievo - Ancona: 1-0
Sampdoria - Modena: 1-1

Very valuable points dropped by both Milan and Juventus.

Juventus was heading to a very bad loss against Lecce, but Trezeguet could still save a shameful point for 'The Old Lady'.

Milan got completely humiliated at home against Udinese. Fava scored an early goal and Udinese controlled the game, making it 0-2 in the 51st minute. It seemed like Milan would turn things around after 70 minutes. First Cafu scored the 1-2 and seconds later a frustrated Pinzi received his second yellow card of the afternoon. Udinese crawled back with 10 players to defend their lead and they managed to do so. Milan couldn't fully use it's man advantage, as Kaladze was booked with a red card as well, in the 80th minute.

Due to Parma's, Juve's and Milan's loss of points, Lazio - Inter became an even more important match.

If Inter wins, it jumps to the second place, 5 points behind leader AS Roma.
If Lazio wins, it shares the fourth spot with Inter with both 28 points, one point behind #3 Milan and two points behind #2 Juventus.
If they draw, Inter stays 4th and Lazio stays 5th, but both miss out on a great opportunity.

Nevertheless Roma is the big winner of this gameday. Tonight's game will determine if either Lazio or Inter can join in that celebration.

Gameday 14 Result:

Lazio - Inter: 2-1

Vieri gave Inter the lead after 30 minutes. Corradi equalized at the perfect moment, minutes before half time.
It was a nice game with chances on both sides accompanied by some god keeping on both sides.
Almeyda got booked with yellow in the 68th minute and received a second card for protesting. Eventhough Inter was down to ten men, they kept pushing and nearly scored their second goal. But with 10 players, the pressure became to big to bare and it was Zauri who decided the game in the 82th minute.

Roma did a wonderful job as they won and as the other three title contenders all lost points.

Roma is indeed going really well. When was the last time they ended as Champion? 3, 4 years ago?
