Roma has been the most consistent of the 4 top teams, this season.
Gameday 14 Results:
Parma - Reggina: 1-2
Empoli - Roma: 0-2
Bad loss for Parma in their battle for an European qualification spot. The seemed to be heaidng for a dra, untill Reggina midfielder Cossa made it 1-2 in extra time, right after Parma defender Cardone got sent off with his second yellow card.
Roma keeps playing strong. Totti secured the three points in the first half with two goals. Roma's leading with 36 points out of 14 games. They haven't lost yet and they have an amazing goal difference: +27 (amazing, for Italian standards. 31 goals scored and only 4 against in 14 games).
Milan and Juve should be able to easily grab trhe three points today. While tonight's match up between Lazio and Inter could be a hard fought battle.
Some transfer news:
with the transfer period being on the verge of opening again, Inter could very well make some significant moves.
They're reported to buy Dejan Stankovic from Lazio and Edgar Davids from Juventus.
That would make their midfield only more spectacular.
They currently have the follow midfielders in their squad: Almeyda, Emre, Farinos, Karagounis, Killy Gonzalez, Lamouchi, Luciano, OKan, Van der Meyde and Cristiano Zanetti. Adding Stankovic and Davids ot that group, would only make Zaccheroni's choice even wider. An excellent fact as Zac is a manager who loves to rotate.
And for next season, Inter's targetting Parma top scorer Adriano. Adriano is still property from Inter. He has been leant out to Parma this season and last season. But after an impressive season last year and an confirming year this season, it's most likely that Inter won't renew the loan contract with Parma. Adriano already told the press, he'd be delighted to fight for a first team spot at Inter.
