I simply don't see him settling up there. If he has an offer from another big club, not playing in Scotland, I'd bet that he'll leave Celtic to play in a better league. No disrespect to Scottish Football, but that's the way it is.

Could there be done something which would be the Scottish Premier League more interesting/exciting?

Back to Bellamy:

Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell aims to do everything in his power to sign on-loan Newcastle striker Craig Bellamy permanently.

The Welsh international would cost around £5m and manager Martin O'Neill has made it clear he wants to keep the player in Glasgow. Lawwell said: "We can't give absolute promises but we will do everything we possibly can to keep Bellamy.

"The biggest assumption though is that the player wants to stay." Bellamy has done well since arriving at Celtic Park on loan, scoring six goals in eight appearances.

"Craig has been a huge success and everyone at Celtic is delighted with him," added Lawwell. He has fitted in brilliantly and we have no complaints about him on or off the park. The board know the fans would love him to stay - we want him to stay too."

There is more chance of a meteor shower crashing through Thimble Village than Bellamy staying in the SPL.
