I think the first old firm game will set the standard for how the league will go..

well theams will get tired in the mid season.

Some teams will, but others will be fighting for finishing high or avoiding relegation.

Teams don't usually get too tired Mid-season (unless of course the team name is Tottenham!) .... so I don't see tiredness being such a big factor for Celtic and Rangers .... unless of course one of those two teams progresses very far in the Champions League, or UEFA Cup.

Hearts .v. Rangers

Should be an interesting game for Rangers on Sunday.

Indeed. Maybe it'll be their first points dropped this season. The CL game could have differing effects .... it could be that they feel a bit more tired than Hearts and so don't play as well as usual, or the win could have put them on a big high and so they are likely to play very well .... I think the second option could be more likely.

Celtic 3-0 Motherwell .... no CL hangover for Celtic as beat Motherwell with three second half goals from Larsson, Sutton and Maloney.
Dundee 2-0 Aberdeen
Dunfermline 0-0 Hibernian
Livingston 1-2 Kilmarnock
Partick Thistle 0-2 Dundee United

Sunday Result
Hearts 0-4 Rangers .... seems as though the second choice was indeed right Rangers were on a high after their CL win and convincingly thrashed Hearts with 4 goals from Arveladze and Lovenkrands (2 each).

Ravanelli has now signed for Dundee, he is going to commute from Derby.. Should prove to be a good signing for them.
