Yeah, that's true. Why didn't I think of that?

Oh well, that means that the nWo probably won't take over, heh. But I'm not gonna think of that too much, cause then the fun of watching will be gone. I just hope that with the nWo angle, the WWF is gonna become a lot more interesting than it was during the last few months of the Invasion angle.

In 1998, WCW had more ratings than the WWF. The combination of the nWo, the rise of Goldberg, the immense popularity of Sting, and later the Wolfpac, and Raven with his Flock was the formula that beat the WWF.

Then when the WCW was going slower in 1999, the WWF was climbing with the Undertaker's return followed up by the Ministry angle that took the Austin vs. McMahon rivalry to it's top. That's where the WWF took back the lead in ratings. Then the Rock became popular and they stayed on top after that.

Yep, Stinger. That sounds about right.

And the Invasion story did get pretty boring and tiring after the Invasion PPV, itself. Nothing really changed drastically. There were just several matches with WWF superstars against Alliance superstars. I suppose the only interesting storyline was Kurt's quest to get the WWF Title back to the WWF. But even that wasn't very exciting.

I'm sure the nWo attack will be a lot more exciting ... cause with the nWo anything can happen
