| It's the final countdown... | | the waiting is nearly over, Backlash is nearly upon us, tonight is in my opinion Hulk Hogans last EVER chance to become champion again, i think we all know he hasn't got long left, and i think i represent the majority of wrestling fans when i say C'MON HOGAN!!!. i really strongly hope that Hogan can pull it off, purely for nostalgia's sake. unfortunately though i don't think he will win, Triple H has only had the belt for a month and after that big comeback stroy, Triple H "defying all the odss" i seriously doubt that the WWF will let him lose it so soon after winning at on the biggest stage in the business, Wrestlemania. but i will still have my fingers crossed for Hogan while i'm watching....CAN U IMAGINE the reception he would get if Hogan won, the roof would blow off Kansas City.
I'm also looking forward to the cruiserweight match, cos i have a strong feeling that we will see the introduction of little Rey Mysterio jr. IMO.
and as much as i like Austin, i wouldn't mind seeing Taker win the #1 contender match, cos then that leaves the possibility of a Hogan vs. Taker match for the undisputed title, if Hogan can defy all the odds tonight, how cool would that be.
P.S. Jerod, i hope u have fun and enjoy the show. |

i think Hogan should end his career as a babyface, it will give him much more respect amongst fans in the long run.
i think there is even a possiblity that if Hogan wins tonight he may retire immediately, that may be the planned storyline, he may just be on a short term contract, we'll see. |

Rock returns after his promo tour for the Scorpion King and he joins Hogan and the nWo ... |

seriously though, i could see Hogan maybe turning heel, but not the Rock again, he's too profitable for the WWF. |
