Danny Grewcock will be available for England's Grand Slam decider against Ireland in Dublin after being cleared of foul play.
The Bath captain escaped a ban following his hearing before a three-man Rugby Football Union panel on Tuesday.
He was reported for two offences of striking another player during Bath's 27-10 Zurich Premiership defeat against Northampton 10 days ago.
He also faced a complaint of unsporting behaviour after being accused of ripping up the scrum-cap of Northampton lock Mark Connors.
Grewcock was found not guilty of both striking charges, but the unsporting behaviour complaint was upheld, for which he received a £500 fine.
"I'm very pleased with the way the committee handled the hearing this evening," said Grewcock, who retains his place among the England substitutes at Lansdowne Road.
"I'm now looking forward to the very important games that lie ahead for Bath and Sunday's game between England and Ireland."
Grewcock, with 39 caps, had already faced disciplinary chiefs this season.
He received a five-week ban last September after being sent off for kicking Saracens skipper and England colleague Kyran Bracken in a Premiership match game.
But Grewcock appealed and was subsequently found not guilty.
He had the suspension wiped out after a freelance photographer contacted the RFU and provided pictures that supported the player's claims of innocence. |
