So is the other Belgian. --> Semi-Final: Clijsters - Henin

Rafael Nadal advances to the Semi-Finals after his opponent, Djokovic, had to give up after 2 sets. Both Federer & Nalbandian advance as well. Rafael Nadal seems to be the favorite for the title.

An remarkable result in the QF's with the ladies is the win for Vaidisova. After Mauresmo, she also defeated Venus Williams! A new 17-year old talent! And if she can knock out Mauresmo & Williams, Koeznetsova shouldn't be a problem either ...

Women's Semi-Finals
Koeznetsova 5-7, 7-6, 6-2 Vaidisova
Henin 6-3, 6-2 Clijsters

Koeznetsova - Vaidisova was an awesome match, but the fairytale has to end sometime.

Justine Henin has most of the time been the better one over Kim Clijsters and this time it wasn't any different. Two sets, two Belgians, but no Clijsters in the Final.

More and more interest goes to the Football, I have a feeling Wimbledon could attract less people than normally?

Men's Final
Federer (1) - Nadal (2)

There are things to say for both players, I'd say Nadal has a slight advantage 'cause it's on gravel.

An expected win for the Roland Garros Winner of 2003 & 2005 and now 2006 as well! She's the best gravel player in the Women's Tournament. During Wimbledon (grass) I'll be keeping an eye out on Sharapova (duh! ), Venus Wlliams & Clijsters.

How are things with Lindsay Davenport?

Lindsay's agent said she is a doubt for Wimbledon as she is still struggling with a back injury.

Congrats to Henin!

Is Federer about to achieve 4 Grand Slams in a row!?

Only 12 World Cup matches will be left once Wimbledon starts, with most of those being played in the evening! I doubt there will be much of a loss from Wimbledon.
