Smackdown got a 3.3 which is a major disapointment because many thought that the rocks return would cause the ratings to increase...

So what is the WWE's next step? The end to the roster split is likley

The WWE is trying everything and i do not think anything is going to work *i sound like a broken record but*
Wrestling hit a peak in the late 90's, and like it has done b4, it's popularity will go down. Then in a few years it will pick back up, but i do not expect to see 6.0 ratings for a while.

You still have to consider the fact that a good amount of people don't have UPN.

true, but the ratings have not fallen much since the split, maybe .2 or soo a show, it is not like they went from 5.0s to 3.0s within a month... U know what i mean?

I think the solution, as far as Smackdown! is concerned, would be to move the show to TNN where it belongs.

That makes sense, but they would not do it, it is still UPN's Higest rated show... even though the ratings are down.

Well that's because UPN blows ass. Smackdown! is what's saving the network. So UPN will hold on to that show for dear life.

Yeah, so as much as the WWE would want smackdown on TNN, i do not think Viacom would even consider it.

I think they'll keep the roster split ... they'll just have to bare with the lower ratings, their talents gets much more chances now
