Now this truly was a shocker!

Now, I'm not going to say that I'm mad that The Rock is back. But I was very disappointed to see him because I really wanted it to be Austin, whether it was for one night or not.

But I loved Rock's speech. It was absolutely incredible and filled with extreme emotion! And honestly, I'm glad he's back.

I just want to know now what he's going to do at King of the Ring.

I see the rock turning heel! it has been sooo long sense he has been a heel that it would make sense and would shock some people. I also think there was no way in hell austin was going to be on raw because the police are after him! I also do not think austin is gone because, MTV.com reported that austin was suspended from the wwe and never said fired. I also think that the whole debra situation MAY have been a coinsidence to this whole mess... We will see and as they have said b4

If WWE has even the slightest bit of common sense, they will keep Rock face. They are already losing some fans. Turning Rock heel would be a huge mistake.

Not if during this Austin Ordeal they signed some big names. Which they might have done w/o us knowing. realisticly, for all we know Goldberg could have a wwe contract!

maybe ur right, i did not see all of raw so i cannot say much but it was really shitty of Vince to keep austins name going throughout the show for ratings. If he is gone let it be! I saw the begining of Raw and thought that was a good way to end the era and then i just started to watch the tape again and could not believe that they were not dropping it!

Yeah, the Rock is back. woohoo </sarcasm> Sorry, I'm not really into the Rock anymore, too repetitive (sorry John!) But I have to say, I was surprised that it was the Rock. As soon as Vince said that it turns out it wasn't Austin, I immediately thought GOLDBERG!!! But no, I was shocked, but slightly disappointed. I hope the Rock goes heel. They need to give him a new angle.

And I have to disagree with what WhatItsLike2BMe said. I think it was smart of them to keep saying "Austin's coming, Austin's coming" so that people would actually watch the show, and so that everybody could see the Rock's return. I dont think it was only a way to get ratings, but a way to make sure the fans saw Rocky return, so that they wouldn't be pissed off because they missed it.

I now see the rock diffrently, i watched raw today and realized that despite the fact that yes, he has an ego, he still has not gone away. I think that the end of raw was kind of a "kiss our ass" off to austin.

I still am not crazy about him, but i respect him alot more now.

Usually he talks in the third person, but last night he kept referring to himself in first person! lol! He needs to get back into character!
