That was one of the most intense RAWs I've seen in my life. Although it has really given me a terrible feeling about what the WWF is doing as far as storylines go. I'm glad to see that Austin-McMahon looks like it could be coming back anytime. And I wish they would just speed it up with that whole thing. It's gonna happen. They're just putting it off.

But this thing with the nWo running trucks into ambulances and portraying actions that are considered assault in real life seems wrong somehow. I think it is being taken way, WAY beyond wresstling. I'm really want to believe that the whole thing was a well performed stunt. I hope to God it was.

But hey, there was good news. One of my two predicted possibilities came true. Triple H got his rematch and won fair and square, unlike some people *Chris Jericho*.

Yeah, you're right. It has nothing to do with wrestling. I thought of the same thing when Angle tried to throw Austin off a bridge. And when Austin and Booker T were tearing up a supermarket too.

But with the nWo, ANYTHING can happen. Not just the anything that that can happen in the WWF, but really ANYTHING.

I do have to add something here. About those WWF announcers, JR and the King. Why are they acting like such ignorant bastards? During the Invasion angle, they knew little to non about the WCW stars, even putting the wrong names on the wrong wrestlers, making fools out of themselves in front of millions of WCW fans.

And now they are acting like they have NEVER seen such a thing as the nWo displayed monday night. HELLO? The nWo has been doing this for 4 years already! They should put a WCW announcer with them. If not, then as respected announcers, they should know their history lessons.

Too bad for the Rock though. He's the People's Champ. He doesn't deserve this. There are some other wrestlers who do, though, hehe. *couch*Y*cough*2*cough*J*couch*

But like I said earlier in another thread, it's just a story line. Stuff like this happens in movies too and the actors are (mostly) not harmed. I'm sure the Rock is doing just fine.

I said one of the most intense. I didn't say it was the most intense. The most intense RAW I've ever seen was either July 9th, the episode when Vince revealed himself to Austin as the "Higher Power," or any random RAW during the McMahon vs. Austin/Ministry angle.

I haven't really noticed what you're talking about. I know that on July 9th, Lilian Garcia didn't know any of the names of the WCW stars from the 10 vs. 10 brawl (WWF vs. WCW/ECW). But other than that, I think J.R. has done a great job.

Oh sorry, I overlooked that. It sounded kind of strange to me anyway, hehe. Yeah, I saw that episode when everybody thought it was Shane. Then it wasn't. And he started talking to Vince on the Titantron. Nobody knew it was pre-taped. I had a feeling it was Vince until that conversation, hehe. I was at the edge of my seat wondering who it could possibly be that night.

About the announcers, yeah JR told us some background information about those wrestlers when they came out. Most of it was correct. I dunno which one of them it was, but they constantly confused the names of Mark Jinjrak, Sean O'Haire, Chuck Palumbo and Shawn Stasiak. When you're an announcer, you know their names, right? Well, for the first couple of weeks, they didn't.

RAW preview for Feb. 25, 2002

RAW kicks off live tonight from the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island, at 9/8 CT only on TNN!
Last week, Mr. McMahon's venomous nWo trio of Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash made their presense felt in a big way. Last Sunday, they cost Stone Cold his chance to become Undisputed Federation Champion at No Way Out. Then, on RAW, The Rock was brutally assaulted by the faction.

This past Thursday on SmackDown!, Stone Cold got a measure of revenge, as he captured Hall and beat the hell out of the Bad Guy throughout the night. With less than three weeks remaining until WrestleMania X8, what will transpire between the nWo and the Federation tonight in Providence? Tune into RAW to find out!

Also, the Undertaker is chomping at the bit to get a match made between himself and Federation co-owner Ric Flair. However, the Nature Boy has yet to succumb to the Dead Man's taunts and challenge. What will Taker's next step be? Find out on tonight's broadcast!

Finally, last Thursday, an unholy alliance was created between the Billion Dollar Princess -- Stephanie McMahon -- and the Undisputed Champion, Chris Jericho. With Y2J's title on the line against Triple H at WrestleMania X8, will Steph's relationship with Jericho be too much for The Game to overcome?

Three matches have already been made for tonight's broadcast. Stone Cold Steve Austin will go one-on-one with Mr. Perfect. The Hardy Boyz challenge Billy and Chuck for the Tag Team Championship.

Finally, Jazz defends her Women's Championship against Mighty Molly.
Watch it all unfold tonight at 9/8 CT on TNN!

Providence, R.I., roared with excitement as RAW opened live from the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. As the broadcast opened, it was announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin would face Mr. Perfect in a match later on.

The nWo started things off with all three men coming to the ring. Hall pushed a wheelbarrow bearing a cloaked object with him.

Hollywood Hogan took the microphone and asked how everyone liked what he did to The Rock. Hogan said that The Rock’s injuries are a lot more severe than what was officially announced by the World Wrestling Federation. He said it felt real, real good to hurt The Rock. He went on to say that The Rock would probably be there that night and the two would go face to face. Hogan promised not to finish the Great One; he would wait until WrestleMania. “What’cha gonna do, brother, when Hulkamania runs wild on you?” Hogan asked.

Nash told the crowd that they were looking at three of the biggest stars ever in wrestling, and the nWo expects to be treated as such. Scott Hall screamed that Steve Austin went too far when he attacked with a crowbar and pickup truck. Hall said that nobody embarrasses or humiliates him. He said that he wanted to face Stone Cold one-on-one in a match … at WrestleMania! Shortly after, the nWo walked back up the ramp with Hall taking with him the wheelbarrow that the trio failed to acknowledge.

The first match of the evening put the Tag Team Championship on the line with Billy and Chuck defending against the Hardy Boyz, who were accompanied to the ring by Lita. The Hardys dropped Chuck early on with a double suplex, but Matt was thwarted on a Twist of Fate attempt and the champs took over. Chuck dominated Matt for several minutes, but Jeff tagged back in and cleaned house. Team Xtreme hooked up to nail the Poetry in Motion on Billy, but then their luck changed. Chuck knocked Jeff off the top rope when he went for a Swanton. Lita helped momentum shift again as she nailed Billy with a Litacanranna. But Chuck interfered and leveled Jeff with a superkick and Billy draped his arm over Jeff to successfully defend the titles!

Chris Jericho pulled up in a limo backstage and opened the other passenger door and extended a hand to his new friend, Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie said that he looked amazing with gold. Jericho gave the driver a video tape and ordered him to deliver it to the production truck, saying he had a special surprise for Triple H and the world!

Backstage, Michael Cole caught Debra and asked what Austin’s reaction to what Scott Hall was. Debra told Cole he needed to ask Stone Cold himself.

Arn Anderson finished a telephone call and was confronted by Christian. Christian was looking for Ric Flair so he could sign the papers to officially quit. Suddenly, a grinning DDP came up and said that Christian didn’t want to quit, he was just filled with pent-up negative energy. DDP said that the only way Christian would start winning would be to focus that energy and make it positive. DDP suggested he start with something simple – a smile. DDP flashed a smile, and Arn Anderson followed suit! Christian looked skeptical but gave a weak smile then headed off with Diamond Dallas Page for more encouragement.

Michael Cole tracked down Stone Cold and got an angry reaction from the Rattlesnake. He said that Scott Hall is a big fat jackass. Austin said he would accept Hall’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania! He promised to show that he is the last son of a bitch that Scott Hall wants to mess with!

A nattily dressed William Regal joined The King and JR at the announce table to watch Rob Van Dam grapple with Lance Storm and Big Show in a Triple Threat Match. The winner gets a shot at Regal for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. Big Show manhandled the other men at the start. RVD and Storm had to work together to take down the gigantic superstar. They hit him with a double suplex, and RVD delivered a Van Daminator off the top rope, followed by a Five-Star Frog Splash to pin Big Show and win the match!

Backstage, Booker T was studying a book on how to learn Japanese. Test came up and complimented Test. Booker said that he had the chance to star in a Japanese shampoo commercial. He figured the company would be impressed when they see him speak Japanese and they’d be more impressed after watching him thrash Rikishi later on.

Bradshaw told Faarroq he had bad news, they didn’t have a match that night. But he excitedly told Faarooq that the people at the Friendly Tap had forgiven them for trashing the place last time they were in town and they wanted the APA to come down for a round of drinks on the house! The two nearly tripped over themselves on the way out the door.

Rikishi and Booker T butted heads next. Booker dropped Rikishi with a kick and continued to stomp his opponent. Rikishi stormed back with a Samoan Drop but was dropped by a scissors kick soon after. Booker T showed off a few karate stances, but was met by a superkick from Rikishi, Booker then used the ref to block a Stink Face and booted Rikishi and took the pin!

The Undisputed Champion arrived at the ring next with Stephanie McMahon at his side. Jericho started off by singing his own praises and saying that when it comes to playing the game, Stephanie is a hall of famer. Jericho said that while he technically he had never beaten Triple H, he had done something much better. He showed footage of the night that Jericho had torn The Game’s quad. He reminded Triple H that Jericho put The Game out of commission for eight months. If it weren’t for Jericho, Triple H may have been able to give his wife the attention she deserved and their marriage wouldn’t have crumbled, and he might have been man enough to get Stephanie pregnant for real. Stephanie said that was doubtful, because in the bedroom, Triple H always came up a little bit short!

The Game’s music hit and out sauntered the Cerebral Assassin. Triple H said it wasn’t so much a matter of him coming up so short, it was just a matter of the field he was playing on being a little too big! Stephanie angrily said she didn’t know what he was talking about. The Game said that even a 747 looks small when flying into the Grand Canyon! He then got into Y2J’s face and said that he wasn’t doing anything that night, so the two should get it on in a non-title match that night!

Before Jericho could say anything, Kurt Angle stomped out and said that only Mr. McMahon makes decisions around here. Kurt said that since he was robbed of his WrestleMania title shot, Mr. McMahon granted him a match against Jericho for the Undisputed Championship! He said that he would be more than happy to make Stephanie his business partner after he beats Jericho. Without warning, Triple H pounced on Jericho and sent him flying from the ring!

Backstage, Mr. Perfect told Coach that he challenged Stone Cold to get even for the Rattlesnake’s meddling with him at the Royal Rumble and then next RAW. He said that his match with Kane last week was an exhibition, but tonight, his record would remain perfect.

Jazz defended the Women’s Championship next against Mighty Molly. Jazz jumped Molly right from the star and began pounding her opponent. She then took Molly’s cape and ripped it up. Shortly after, Jazz bodyslammed Molly and followed with a leg drop but only got a two count. Molly refused to go down easy. She absorbed two double-arm suplexes and Jazz’ favorite submission move then slyly rolled Jazz up in several quick pin attempts. Molly worked to the top rope and tried a cross body, but missed. Jazz followed with a brainbuster and successfully defended the title. After the bell, Jazz locked Molly in another submission move and landed a DDT for good measure.

Mighty Molly had to be helped to the back after suffering a stinger. She was still slowly working her way backstage with the help of several trainers and agents when the Undertaker came down to the ring. Taker clocked Arn Anderson in the head and tossed him in the ring where Taker decimated him! Taker took the mic and said that Ric Flair wouldn’t say no again and that this beating was on Flair’s head. With that, Taker furthered the beating of Flair’s best friend, leaving him in a bloodied heap on the mat.

Kurt Angle faced Y2J for the Undisputed Championship next. A pumped up Kurt Angle hit a German suplex for a two count early on. But Jericho soon tossed the challenger from the ring and dropped him on the ring barrier. Back in the ring, Jericho landed a flying elbow and continued to pace the match. Later, Jericho latched on the Walls of Jericho, but Angle reached the ropes to break the hold.

An incensed Jericho tossed the ring bell into the fray, but the strategy worked against him. Angle ended up ringing the bell across Y2J’s forehead! Amazingly, the champ kicked out when the ref’s hand was millimeters away from slapping the mat for a third time. Kurt got Jericho in the ankle lock

but was tossed through the ropes. Suddenly, Kane appeared from through the crowd

and bet up Angle before tossing him back on the mat! Jericho used the opportunity to pin Angle and defend his title! Afterward, Kane chased Angle through the crowd with a steel chair in hand!

Ric Flair was shown arriving at the arena but was met by a referee who told him what happened to Arn. Flair’s face fell and he ran back into the limo and raced away!

Backstage, Hollywood Hogan appeared outside The Rock’s dressing room then flung the door open and headed inside!

Following the break, Hogan was shown talking to a life-sized figure of The Rock. Hogan said that in 10-20 years, people wouldn’t remember the Great One. Hogan said that legends don’t grow on trees, and he should know since he is one. Hogan said he was disappointed in The Rock for not thanking him for all he did to pave the way for so many other superstars. He acknowledged that The Rock is a big star, but nowhere near Hogan’s league. Hogan took out a leather belt and smashed the cutout to pieces, saying The Rock would soon learn who the real thing is!

The APA arrived at the Friendly Tap and found a sign promoting Men’s Night at the bar. They shrugged off the sign and went in and ordered some beers. Faarooq jaw’s dropped and he pointed out pairs of men dancing and hugging all over the place! One man dressed in drag asked Bradshaw to dance. “Come on cowboy!” he begged. Bradshaw stammered out his shock and tried to pan off the advance on Faarooq, who also declined! Suddenly, Billy and Chuck smashed into the APA and cracked bottles and pool cues over their heads before fleeing!

Backstage, the nWo wished Mr. Perfect goo luck in his match with Austin, not that he would need it.

Stone Cold and Mr. Perfect locked up in the night’s main event. The two started with some good old-school grappling then turned into a brawl. Austin shattered Perfect with a spinebuster and continued the assault with a clothesline. But Mr. Perfect responded with several shots to the Rattlesnake in the corner.

Stone Cold turned things around and stomped on Perfect in the corner, then caught him with a Stone Cold Stunner to win the match!

While Austin celebrated with a few beers, Scott Hall appeared with his wheelbarrow filled with several cement blocks. Hall and Austin clashed until Nash and Hogan helped their comrade destroy the Rattlesnake. While Nash and Hogan restrained Austin, Hall smashed a cinder block over Stone Cold’s knee!

The nWo smugly retreated up the ramp with Austin writhing in pain!
