Last night I attended RAW for the first time ever. I've been to two house shows before, but never RAW. And it was everything I expected it to be!
My friends and I got there very early. So there wasn't a lot to do.
A fight broke out in the middle of the street in front of the Savvis Center. Then we saw a guy that looked just like Randy Savage. I asked if I could take his picture since he looks just like Savage. He said he's his brother, Andy Savage and that they'll be a tag team some day named Double Trouble.
The show started at 6:45. There were some dark matches. Then they taped the matches for next Sunday's episode of
Heat. The matches were Jeff Hardy vs. somebody nobody knows and 3-Minute Warning vs. Spike Dudley and Tommy Dreamer. I got a pic of Jeff hitting the Swanton.
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were introduced and took their places at the announcers' table as the RAW aprons were set up on the ring.
RAW
RAW kicked off live on the New TNN with a shot of Eric Bischoff in the middle of the ring being booed heavily by the St. Louis crowd. Bischoff announced that the match between himself and Stone Cold Steve Austin later in the night as the main event would be a Lumberjack Match consisting of every single member of the RAW roster. Anyone who refused to be a lumberjack would be fired!
The RAW theme played and the pyro went off, causing the crowd to go absolutely wild!
The first match saw Kane and RVD facing Lance Storm and Chief Morley, who is filling in for the concussed William Regal. Morley stated beforehand that if the Dudley Boyz were to interfere in the match, there would be hell to pay! The match was mostly dominated by Kane and RVD. Each hit their most popular moves, except there was no Five-Star Frog Splash. Kane chokeslammed Lance Storm and pinned him for the victory.

After the match, the Dudleyz came out and set up a table in the ring as Kane and RVD trapped Morley in the corner. But the Dudleyz threw RVD out of the ring and gave Kane a 3D through the table! They then turned around and walked up the ramp angrily, leaving Morley delighted in the ring.
After the break, we see they Dudley Boyz backstage with the Chief. They said they were told earlier in the week to make a choice. They said they unfortunately had to choose to join forces with Bischoff and Morley. They said they didn't like it, but they would do it in order to make their living and feed their families. Morley assured them that they had made the right choice and that their suspension was officially lifted. The Dudleyz reluctantly shook hands with Morley.
Next, Triple H came out and talked about how great he is and how much Booker T sucks. He called out Booker, but he got Goldust instead! Goldust says he thinks Triple H is worried that he'll lose to Booker at WrestleMania. While he talks, Goldust starts stuttering and Triple H and Flair laugh hysterically, making fun of Goldust. Triple H mocks Goldust's affliction.

Finally, Goldust gets fed up and attacks both Hunter and Flair. But the two regroup and take out Goldust. Eventually, Booker T came out and cleaned house!
After the break, Triple H is shown destroying his dressing room. He tells Flair to tell Bischoff that he wants to face Goldust in a match later in the night!
The next match was Maven vs. Rico. There were strong "Rico Sucks!" chants at points during the match. The match was pretty even all the way through. Maven hit a nice bulldog off the middle rope. Maven won the match by countering Rico's attempt at a swinging neckbreaker and got him in a backslide for the pin.
Shawn Michaels is shown entering Steve Austin's dressing room.
Shawn Michaels tells Austin that he was asked to be a lumberjack in the match later that night and that he just wanted to be straight with Austin about it. He says that he'll throw Austin back into the ring whenever he has to. Austin asks what HBK will do when Chris Jericho is out there as a lumberjack. HBK says he's not worried and then reminds Austin that The Rock will also be a lumberjack. Austin says he isn't worried and that he'll beat Rock at WrestleMania.
The Rock walks by Theodore Long backstage. He gets upset when he sees Long's copy of
WWE Magazine with the Hurricane on the cover.

Long tells Rock that Hurricane never beat him last week; it was a conspiracy by "the man." He assured The Rock that Rodney Mack would take care of the Hurricane next!
A WrestleMania moment is shown: Andre the Giant slams Big John Studd in 1985 to win the Slam Match, win $25,000 and keep his job.
The match between Rodney Mack and the Hurricane was next. Everyone cheered for Hurricane. But nobody even cared enough about Rodney Mack to boo him. Hurricane won by DQ when The Rock got involved and assaulted him with a chair.
