Or an Elimination Chamber

^^^

Good move I'd say. Now they have 2 possibilities: letting HHH start and drop his title, being eliminated in the beginning OR letting HHH go at it as the last one, letting him retain ... oh yeah that would be a success for everyone and especially the crowd
Nevertheless it will probably be a great match with or without Hunter.

Nash vs Y2J for next week loks great! For some reason I can't picture one of them suffering the hair stipulation ...

RAW Results August 4th:

We start with video of Vince McMahon's appearance last week and his eventual decision to use Kane for his own bidding, only for Shane to attack his father and repeatedly clock Kane with a chair, only for Kane to laugh off the beating.

The Raw music video plays, the pyros explode and we are LIVE from Vancouver, BC.

Tonight, we'll see Goldberg face Ric Flair, and Chris Jericho take on Rob Van Dam, but first...

Here comes the money... Shane'O Mac takes a much slower walk to the ring this week, and takes a mic. What he did to Kane last week was the start of something, and tonight he's going to finish it. Tonight, we'll find out how big and bad Kane is. From this night forward, everywhere Kane turns, Shane will be right in his face. As long as Shane is living, he will make Kane's life a living hell.

Eric Bischoff's music hits, and the Raw Co-GM comes out to the ring. Bischoff feels for Shane and he promises that if he hadn't been given the night off already, he would have made sure Kane never laid a hand on Linda. He still has flashbacks of being chokeslammed off the stage by Kane, and there's nothing he'd rather see than Shane get some revenge. In fact, there's nothing he'd rather see than Shane vs. Kane tonight... but he can't make that match. At this point, it's not about what Shane wants, or even what Bischoff wants. This is about what Vince McMahon wants. Right before the show, Vince called Bischoff and demanded Kane vs. RVD at SummerSlam. Shane says he doesn't want SummerSlam; he wants tonight. Well, Bischoff says that Vince anticipated Shane's arrival and demanded that he be taken out of the building by security. Bischoff says that he likes Shane enough that he won't make he'll allow Shane to leave on his own, as long as he does it right now. Shane says that Bischoff can say all he wants, but Shane is disgusted by Bischoff. He doesn't care what Vince or Bischoff say, because he's not leaving the ring... unless Bischoff wants to make him. Bischoff says that he is a Co-GM because he can control his emotions, but if Shane isn't careful, he'll see Bischoff's black belt karate skills.

The glass breaks, and our other GM, Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out, as Bischoff and Shane are nose-to-nose.

Austin tells Shane to leave, but Shane stays put. Austin continues, mocking Bischoff's fighting skills. He then brings up all of Bischoff's comments to Linda about liking mature women. Austin then says that Shane can leave the ring or, since he can't fight Kane tonight, he can take out his frustrations on Bischoff in a no-holds-barred match tonight.

Bischoff says that Austin can't make a match like that, because the GMs can't lay hands on WWE Superstars or else they're fired. Austin brings up that Shane isn't a contracted Superstar, and thus the match can go on. Bischoff complains, then has an epiphany and accepts the match.

Renee Dupree vs. BuhBuh Dudley

The D-Bombs drop and the Dudleys come out, followed by La Resistance.

BuhBuh clotheslines Dupree, then starts chopping away on him. Grenier takes down BuhBuh from the outside. D-Von tries to get in the ring, allowing Grenier to come in and double team on BuhBuh 1-2-kickout. Dupree goes for an overhead belly-belly, but BuhBuh blocks and hits a falling neckbreaker. Chops and punches by BuhBuh, then a back bodydrop and a clothesline 1-2-shoulder up.

BuhBuh punches away on Dupree, then big boots him. BuhBuh goes second rope for a flying cross body and a two count. BuhBuh goes for a Full Nelson Slam, but Dupree counters and slams BuhBuh down himself 1-2-shoulder up. Grenier tosses the flag in the ring. Dupree takes it and prepares to hit BuhBuh, but for some reason Grenier runs in and accidentally clotheslines Dupree. D-Von takes the flag and nails Dupree, who then gets a BuhBuh Bomb 1-2-3!

In the back, Evolution are warming up, when Bischoff comes in. He tells Flair and Orton to leave so he can speak with Triple H.

Scott Steiner vs. Randy Orton

Steiner comes out with Stacy.

Followed by Randy Orton. Orton takes a mic and says that he can feel the tension in this arena, because he knows that more people came to see his nipples than Stacy's.

Steiner starts by clotheslining Orton into the corner, then choping away. Orton goes for a clothesline, but it doesn't phase Steiner, who starts pounding and pounding on Orton, eventually knocking him out of the ring.

On the outside, Orton pushes Stacy into Steiner, then clotheslines the distracted Steiner down.

Back in the ring, Orton tries to continue his advantage, but in going for a Lou Thesz Press, instead gets powerslammed by Steiner 1-2-shoulder up.

Chops by Steiner, then a clothesline followed with an elbow drop. Steiner 'buckles Orton and hits a Super Belly-Belly. He goes to pin, but Test runs down the ramp. Steiner pulls Test into the ring and beats on him, finally clotheslining him out of the ring. Steiner turns back around and walks right into the RKO 1-2-3!

In the back, Bischoff says that he made Triple H a hell of an offer and needs to know if they have a deal. Triple H tells Bischoff to calm down because the deal is on.

In the back, Hurricane is working with Rosey, when Christian comes up. He jokes that Rosey's superpower will be the ability eat a stack of cheesburgers at one time. Christian tells Hurricane that he left Booker in a pile in Australia and he'll do the same to Helms tonight. Christian leaves and Rosey comes back with his Superhero In Training kit. Helms tells him that he's not ready, but Rosey insists that he is.

In the back, Bischoff speaks with Rodney Mack when Stone Cold bursts in. Bischoff explains that he's going to have Evolution in his corner tonight. Austin asks what is in it for Triple H. Bischoff says that the Triple H vs. Goldberg Title Match at SummerSlam is not No-DQ, so Evolution can come down and do whatever they want. And there's nothing Austin can do about it, because the match was signed while Austin was still in limbo about his future as a GM.

The Hurricane vs. Christian

Christian starts by whipping Helms against the ropes, but Hurricane comes back with a headscissor takedown. Hurricane tosses Christian out of the ring, and then hits a sommersault plancha. Back in the ring, Helms goes up top and hits a flying cross body 1-2-shoulder up.

Back elbow by Hurricane, who goes second rope and leaps over Christian, then locks in a choke. Christian elbows out, but Helms clotheslines him down 1-2-shoulder up. Christian quickly rolls Hurricane up, using Helms' tights for leverage 1-2-3!

After the match, Hurricane tries to get the ref to restart the match, but Christian attacks Hurricane. Helms' music hits, and Rosey comes out with a towel cape and a bandana over his eyes. Christian tries to attack, but Rosey takes him down with a spinning sidewalk slam.

In the back, a police van pulls up, holding Kane inside.

Ric Flair vs. Goldberg

In the arena, Ric Flair and Triple H come out on stage. Flair makes his way to the ring as Triple H takes a seat at the announce booth. Goldberg receives a knock on his door, and he makes his way through the sparklers and into the ring.

Flair gets in Goldberg's face, then backs up and runs, only for Goldberg to toss him back across the ring. Shoulder block by Goldberg, followed with a press slam. Flair rolls out of the ring, but Goldberg grabs him and pulls him back in.

Flair tries for some chops, but Goldberg swats him away and tosses him to the mat with a choking throw. Goldberg continues with the choke, which the referee admonishes him for. Flair takes the opportunity to chop block Goldberg's knee.

With Goldberg down, Flair applies a headlock and punches away on Goldberg's face. Chops by Flair, but Goldberg remains unphased. Goldberg knocks Flair down with a forearm, then another. Back bodydrop by Goldberg, then a powerslam.

Flair takes advantage of Goldberg's posing by poking him in the eyes. Flair goes up top, but Goldberg is still able to toss him across the ring.

Randy Orton runs down with a chair and nails Goldberg in the back. Hebner calls for the DQ, as Orton beats on Goldberg. Triple H leaves the announce table and makes his way to the ring.

Flair lowblows Goldberg as Triple H goes under the ring to get his sledgehammer.

Orton and Flair hold Goldberg, who receives the hammer right in the gut.

Shawn Michaels runs down and starts beating on Orton and Flair, with Triple H having escaped to the outside. Chris Jericho runs down and attacks Michaels, then stomps on Goldberg. Kevin Nash comes out with a chair and forces Jericho and Evolution from the ring.

The glass breaks and Stone Cold comes out behind the announce booth.

He admits that he can't change the fact that Bischoff added stipulations to the SummerSlam Main Event, but he can add more to it. The Main Event will still be for the World Title, and it will still feature Triple H and Goldberg, but it will also feature Chris Jericho, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, and Randy Orton, because the SummeSlam Main Event is now an Elimination Chamber match.

As we return, Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels are still celebrating, when Chris Jericho runs back into the ring. He knocks Michaels from the ring, but Nash knees him down and gives him the Jacknife.

In the back, EMTs are working on Flair. Bischoff runs in and asks Triple H if their deal is still on even though the SummerSlam match changed. Bischoff says that technically it's out of his hands. Triple H says that their deal is technically off.

WWE Women's Championship - Molly Holly (c) vs. Trish Stratus

Molly starts by slamming Trish down with a waistlock and geting an early one count. Suplex by Molly for a two count. Molly hits a couple elbows then a Northern Lights Suplex 1-2-shoulder up.

Trish smashes Molly into the turnbuckles, then rolls her up and bridges 1-2-shoulder up. Schoolgirl 1-2-shoulder up. Molly knees Trish in the gut and clubs her in the back. Trish takes Molly down with a headscissors, then a dropkick 1-2-shoulder up.

Molly rakes the eyes, but goes flying out of the ring when Trish bridges below a clothesline. Trish leaps onto Molly from the apron and punches away.

Victoria comes out and tries to attack Trish. After getting punched a few times, Victoria hits Trish with a spinning sidewalk slam. The referee DQs Molly for Victoria's interference. Molly attacks Victoria for costing her the win, but then they team up to attack Trish. Gail Kim runs down and tosses them both out of the ring. Gail helps Trish up, then clotheslines her down again.

Kim picks up Trish and gives her an Alabama Slam.

In the back, police are guarding Kane's van, when Shane McMahon rushes the van, beating on the sides and screaming until the police drag him away.

In the back, Lance Storm admits that he's boring, and asks for help from the one man who is anything but boring: Goldust.

Goldust says that they're going to have some fun.

We cut back to the van, where Bischoff runs to the officers, screaming that Shane has attacked two more officers. He directs the police where to go and they run off, allowing a smiling Bischoff to use keys he got from somewhere to open the van and unlock Kane.

Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Jericho

Van Dam starts by flipping over Jericho's back and taking him down with a spin kick. RVD hits the monkey flip 1-2-shoulder up. Jericho pokes RVD in the eyes and smashes him into the turnbuckles. Chops by Jericho, who leaps to the corner, but RVD ducks and Jericho nails the ringpost and flies out of the ring. Baseball slide by RVD, knocking Jericho into the barrier. RVD goes up top and leaps, but misses Jericho and hits the barrier.

Back in the ring, Jericho is fully in control of the match. After using up some power offense, Jericho snapmares RVD and applies a reverse chin lock.

Van Dam fights up and out of the hold, but runs into Jericho's low knee. Exchange of punches, but Jericho catches Van Dam with a sleeper which he turns to a pin 1-2-shoulder up.

Elbows to the back by Jericho, followed with mounted punches. Van Dam escapes to the apron, but Jericho grabs him. Jericho attempts to suplex RVD back into the ring, but Van Dam blocks and suplexes Jericho over the ropes to the floor below.

Back in the ring, dropkicks Van Dam, then goes with chops in the corner. Back elbow by Van Dam, who hits a springboard sidekick. Van Dam with elbows in the corner, then shoulder thrusts. Jericho leapfrogs Van Dam and rolls him up into the Walls of Jericho, but Van Dam counters with a cradle 1-2-shoulder up.

Jericho hits a leaping kick to the head for a two count. Jericho goes for an enziguri, but Van Dam ducks and hits a mule kick. Van Dam goes for Rolling Thunder, but Jericho gets his knees up in time 1-2-shoulder up.

Clothesline by Jericho, who goes for the Lionsault but Van Dam rolls away. Spinning heel kick by RVD, who goes up top for the Five Star, but Jericho rolls away in time! Jericho rolls up RVD 1-2-shoulder up.

Van Dam goes for a hurricanrana, but Jericho blocks and goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Van Dam grabs the ropes. Jericho goes for a springboard crossbody, but Van Dam catches him with a kick to the chest. Van Dam hits the split-legged moonsault 1-2-3!

After the match, Jericho gets on the mic and claims a conspiracy against him. He claims that this loss was due to Kevin Nash. But Big Sexy is just a Big Baby. That's why Jericho is going to take what is most precious to Kevin Nash. Jericho challenges Nash to a Hair vs. Hair match next week.

No Holds Barred - Shane McMahon vs. Eric Bischoff

Bischoff's music hits, and the Co-GM comes out with a large sparring pad. He gets a crew member to hold the pad while Bischoff shows off his kicking abilities. Finally Shane'O comes out and the match gets underway.

Bischoff gets in two kicks that drive Shane against the ropes, then one that catches him in the head and takes him down. Bischoff poses for the crowd, allowing Shane'O to tackle Bischoff and pound away on him.

BOOM! Kane comes out, completely unshackled. Shane gets out of the ring and meets Kane at the bottom of the ramp. Shane attacks, beating Kane against a barrier and choking him with a cable.

Finally Kane is able to slam Shane down and then boot him. Kane picks Shane up and drives his back into the ringpost.

He tosses Shane into the barrier, then pulls over some of the stairs. Kane grabs Shane and Tombstones him onto the stairs.

Kane picks up Shane's lifeless body and rolls him into the ring. Bischoff pins 1-2-3!

RAW Ratings - Maintaining the 4.0 mark
RAW this week drew a 4.0 rating.

The show did hours of 3.7 and 4.3.

The five minute overrun with Eric Bischoff vs. Shane McMahon with Kane coming out drew a 5.1 rating, the peak of the show, but the lowest overrun rating of the last few weeks.

HUGE NEWS: NEW IC CHAMP!!

Christian defeated Booker T to recapture the Intercontinental title last night at a house show in Des Moines, Iowa. Very few times in recent memory has a title changed hands at a house show and stayed with the new recipient.

Often during the reign of the Hardcore Title that would be changed several times due to the 24/7 ruling, but would always end up back on the champ. The other way a title change would "occur" would be via the Dusty finish, however neither of these happened in Des Moines.

This of course does not bode well for the injury status of Booker T. He has been experiencing severe back pains recently and the results of a scan on that injury are probably now known, thus the reason for him dropping the title.

It’s also interesting that WWE weren’t even able to wait 24 hours for Booker to drop the title on television, which would lead one to assume the injury is so serious that it could’ve de-generated further by this evening, or that Booker couldn’t put on any kind of legit performance on a television broadcast.

RAW Preview August 11th:

RAW is live tonight from The MARK of the Quad Cities in Moline, Ill. SummerSlam is just two weeks away; the main event has been announced. Will any more matches be announced tonight at 9/8 CT, live on Spike TV, the first network for men?

Last week, an irate Chris Jericho blamed his loss to Rob Van Dam on Kevin Nash. Y2J challenged Big Daddy Cool to a Hair vs. Hair Match. Will Nash accept the challenge?

Nash, Y2J and the four other Superstars who will be part of SummerSlam's Elimination Chamber -- Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Goldberg and World Heavyweight Champion Triple H -- are all scheduled to be in Moline. That means the potential for all hell to break loose is higher than ever.

Also announced for SummerSlam is RVD vs. Kane. Can anyone control Kane? Can RVD put a stop to his path of destruction? Will Kane be in Moline tonight?

For the past several weeks, the long-time voice of RAW, Jim Ross, has been recovering from vicious burns he received at the hands of Kane. Last week, The King hinted to the fact that J.R. may actually be well enough to return to his post at the announce booth as soon as this week. Will Jim Ross be at RAW tonight?

Find out on RAW, which begins at 9 p.m./8 CT on Spike TV, the first network for men.

Booker is out for about 2 months ... maybe more.

Hair vs Hair looks great

And I think Test will cheat his win over Scott ...

RAW Results August 11th:

Jonathan Coachman and Jerry Lawler welcome us and announce that in a rematch where there must be a winner: Goldberg will take on Ric Flair. Tonight is all the debut of Spike TV.

Eric Bischoff's music hits and the co-GM of RAW heads to the ring and grabs a mic. He makes Lilian re-announce him as the winner of last week's match against Shane McMahon. They show clips of Kane beating up Shane and then throwing him in for Bischoff to get the easy pin. Bischoff asks them to replay the pin again and again and then laughs at his accomplishment. He says that he has had a tremendous amount of respect for Vince McMahon and a ton of admiration for the "big breasted" and mature women Linda and he even had some respect for Stephanie. But he has zero respect for Shane McMahon. Shane is in the position he is today just because of his last name, he is the Frank Sinatra Jr. of WWE. If it weren't for his last name, he would be an even bigger loser than he is now - unlike a true winner, an American success story like Eric Bischoff who climbed to the top of this industry...

He's interrupted by Jim Ross' music and from the back, JR makes his way slowly down to the ringside area. Ross enters the ring and grabs a mic of his own just as Bischoff asks him what the hell he is doing here because he is no condition to be here. JR says Bischoff must really be proud of his win over Shane last week. So proud that he's throwing his weight around on RAW and so proud that he set him up to get burned by Kane. JR says that he knows what Kane means to RAW so he won't press any charges but because Bischoff put him in an unsafe workplace, he will sue Eric for every cent he has!

Bischoff tries to reason with Ross saying that they can probably work things out. Bischoff orders Coach to get up from the commentating table and says that chair is reserved for the best commentator in wrestling history. He tries to suck up to JR some more but Stone Cold Steve Austin marches down to the ring with a clipboard in hand. After posing for the audience, he shakes JR's hand and then takes a mic himself.

Austin first says that it's great to see JR back on the job. He then turns his attention to Bischoff and says he knew something like this might happen so he took the liberty to draw up a contract in hopes that these two can work something out. Austin consults with JR and then lets us know that he won't sue Eric Bischoff if and only if Bischoff agrees to face a certain individual right here tonight on RAW. Bischoff says the situation with him and Shane is over so he won't do it which prompts JR to suggest that he better call his lawyer.

Bischoff reconsiders and says that after what Kane did to Shane McMahon, it can't be that bad to face him. He agrees to wrestle Shane and asks for the contract. Reluctantly, he goes through the papers and signs the agreement. Austin asks him if he wants to read it or not and Bischoff says he doesn't need to read it - he knows what it's in there. So Bischoff signs and Austin smirks. Bischoff demands that Shane come out right now so Austin asks him what the hell he's talking about. Shane isn't in any condition to wrestle tonight...Bischoff signed a contract to wrestle an individual, but it's not Shane you dumb dumb dumb, stupid son of a bitch. He tells Bischoff that he just signed a contract to face Kane tonight on RAW!

Austin and JR chug some beers down as a horrified and worried Eric Bischoff slowly leaves the ring realizing what he has done.

Scott Steiner and Stacy Keibler vs. Rico and Miss Jackie

Steiner and Stacy make their way down to the ring and they are followed a couple minutes later by Rico and Jackie. Steiner and Rico starts things off but Rico flaunts a little allowing Steiner to gain the upper hand with a couple chops and a belly-to-belly suplex. Clothesline knocks Rico down and Steiner falls on him with an elbow drop so Rico bails and tags out to Miss Jackie.

It's a mixed tag match so Steiner tags to Stacy and the two girls exchange slaps.

They roll around in various pinning combinations but neither can get a pin. Match progresses until they both hit a double clothesline on each other.

As the girls make their way to their partners, Test comes out of nowhere and attacks Steiner. They end up fighting all the way into the crowd and with the ref distracted, Rico hits a guillotine over the ropes on Stacy. Jackie hits a legdrop and gets the easy 1-2-3 for the win.

After the match, Steiner makes his way back to the ring and is furious at Test for sticking his nose in his business. Steiner challenges Test to a one-on-one match right here tonight. Test agrees and says it's on, but not tonight. Instead he proposes that the match be next week but he wants Stacy on the line again. Stacy takes the mic from Steiner and accepts the challenge.

Backstage, Ric Flair complaints to Randy Orton about his match with Goldberg. He also is pissed that Austin has announced that if either Orton or Triple H interfere in his match, they will be suspended for 30 days. Triple H enters the picture and shifts attention to his match at Summerslam, saying even with a torn groin he has to now face five guys in the elimination chamber. Orton corrects him and says that actually, it's the two of them facing four guys and Triple H thanks him and says he can count on him. Triple H then says that he's tired of everyone screwing with the Evolution so tonight they will screw with everyone else.

Backstage, we see Kane arrive in the police van.

Non-Title Match - Dudley Boyz vs. La Resistance

The Dudleys hit the ring with an American flag in hand, ready for a non-title match against La Resistance. The four men immediately start fighting all at once, but Dupree gets kicked out allowing D-Von to attempt the whassup head butt from the top rope. However, Dupree runs in and hits D-Von with the American flag and he continues to attack both D-Von and Bubba, causing the referee to issue a disqualification.

With the crowd booing, Sylvain Grenier breaks the flag over his knee and they celebrate by drinking some French win spitting some of it on the Dudley Boyz. Grenier then lays the flag over the fallen Dudleys.

Backstage, we see Molly by polishing her title belt when Goldust sneaks up behind and says it's obvious that she has an affinity for Go...Go...Go go Power Rangers. He introduces someone who is truly not boring: Lance Storm who has his face painted in gold and black. He reads from some cue cards and says "congratulations on your huge ass..ass...ass..." so Molly slaps him and walks away. A sad Storm finishes and says "ascension in the women's division" and tells Goldust that this just isn't working.

Backstage, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash talk. Michaels assures Nash that he won't be losing his hair and then Shawn says that he plans on beating Jericho in the Elimination chamber match. Goldberg enters the picture and thanks them for helping him out last week but he plans on becoming the new champion at Summerslam. Shawn says he has a problem with that and they just kinda stare and walk away.

In the arena, Booker T's music hits but instead of Booker T, it's Christian who comes out with the IC title belt around his waist. Coach explains that Christian defeated Booker T, who has a herniated disc in his back, on Sunday at a house show before cutting to a commercial.

Christian vs. Spike Dudley

We come back as Christian takes a mic and says that that is the last time we will be hearing Booker T's music for a long time. He explains that last night he beat Booker T, injured his back and won his IC title back. Also, since today is the debut of Spike TV, he has found the perfect opponent to defeat in his first title defense so can you dig that...

Spike Dudley's music hits and Spike comes running down and attacks Christian. He punches away and kicks him in the throat but Christian quickly recovers and suplexes him on the top rope before nailing him in the head.

Dropping Spike to the outside. Christian continues his assault as Spike tries to go for the ropes, but Christian drags him to the middle of the ring for a two count. Suplex attempt by Christian but Spike blocks it and gets a two count of his own.

Christian regains the upperhand.

But the match goes back and forth with Spike getting several near falls. Spike gets a tornado DDT but as he goes to the top rope, he's caught. Spike bits Christian's face and then jumps on him but Christian gets a foot on the rope to break the count. Christian finally hits the Unprettier and gets the pinfall victory.

Backstage, Kane is let out by the security guards, police, whatever though he is still in shackles.

Eric Bischoff runs by to greet Kane and thanks him for helping him last night. He also points out to Kane that it was him who let Kane free last week and tries to make him realize that they make a great team. Kane's expression doesn't change so Bischoff suggests that they make the match easy.

He suggests that he will just lay down for Kane but Kane just laughs and says no we're not going to do it your way. Tonight, we'll do things my way.

We come back and are shown a replay of what just transpired during the commercial - Jim Ross replacing Coach at the commentating booth. Lawler suggests that Coach isn't happy about being replaced.

Eric Bischoff vs. Kane

Eric Bischoff makes his way down to the ring, still with a worried look on his face. Kane is then escorted down to the ring by the police officers and the shackles are slowly taken off. The two get into the ring but Bischoff lays down waiting for Kane to pin him, but Kane grabs him by the throat and goes for a chokeslam.

After holding him up for several seconds, he lets him down and just walks away rom the ring as the referee starts the ten count. Kane doesn't come back so the ref awards the match via countout to Eric Bischoff.

Kane then finally comes back to the ring and gets in with a mic. He asks the fans that they probably want him to destroy Eric Bischoff. The audience cheers so Kane says he's sick of doing what other people want. He's listened to other people for his whole life and where has it got him? Nowhere. Kane says that he's through doing what other people want and from now on, he does what he wants. With that, he drops the mic and starts walking off but Bischoff starts yapping behind him so Kane changes his mind and starts stalking him.

Out of nowhere, Rob Van Dam comes running out and attacks Kane but he misses a jump and lands on the security barrier. Kane throws him back into the ring and brings in a steel chair. He misses with a chairshot allowing Van Dam to hit a leg drop while Kane's head was on the chair. Dropkick.

He goes for the Five Star Frog Splash but Kane moves and RVD lands on the chair instead.

Kane then clocks him with the chair and stands over him, laughing.

Backstage, we see Trish Stratus getting ready for the women's match.

They just a replay of what just happened between Kane and Rob Van Dam.

WWE Women's Championship - Trish Stratus vs. Gail Kim vs. Molly Holly

Trish Stratus enters as backstage we see Terri try to interview Gail Kim.

Kim asks Terri where she was when she won the women's title and where she was when Trish kicked her in the face. Now that she's gotten the attention of Trish and WWE, she'll show everyone the real Gail Kim. Meanwhile, Molly enters and Kim follows her but before she even gets to the ring, Trish and Molly start going at it.

As Kim hits the ringside area, Trish meets her there and attacks her. Trish then sneaks in and hits a spinebuster on Gail but Kim kicks out only to run into a Lou Thesz press a bit later. As Gail and Trish battle away in the corner, Molly finally gets up and drags Trish down as Kim tries for a slingshot over the top rope but she botches it and pretty much lands on her face.

The heels double team Trish in the ring, taking turns with kicks and punches.

Molly hangs Trish in one of the corners and directs Gail to do a baseball slide or something but as Gail comes running to do it, Molly levels her with a clothesline and then just pins her for the win.

Backstage, Ric Flair and Randy Orton talk about stuff. Triple H comes in and says that Bischoff is so happy with tonight's developments that he is letting them do whatever they want. He opens up a package and reveals a referee's t-shirt as Randy Orton is now the special guest referee. Randy promises to call it down the middle as Flair and Triple H celebrate.

As we come back, we see a vignette of Rosey, S.H.I.T. who helps a old woman cross the street with her groceries.

The woman asks him who he is again and Rosey responds: Rosey, The S-H-I-T and the woman gets angry and whacks him with her bag. Hurricane flies in and says that no good deed goes unpunished.

Backstage, we see Eric Bischoff celebrating in his office. Austin comes in and congratulates him and Bischoff says he's happy he's a big enough man to come in and congratulate him even though he's outsmarted him two weeks in a row. Bischoff then brags and says he strives for perfection so Austin says he has a chance to prove that in his next match. Bischoff is confused so Austin says that he didn't read a clause in that contract - the winner of the Kane/Bischoff will face a man with incredible healing powers, a man who will be healthy in no time - Shane McMahon. And that's the bottom line cause you didn't read the contract.

Rodney Mack vs. Hurricane

Mack goes right after Hurricane backing him into a corner and delivering some shoulder blocks. They move to the middle of the ring where Hurricane runs straight into a powerslam so Mack kicks Hurricane in the head and throws him to the outside. A suplex brings Hurricane back in and gets a two count. More kicks by Mack and he takes the opportunity to mock Hurricane before throwing him into the same corner and choking him out. Bearhug by Mack but Hurricane ends up getting out of it following it up with a clothesline and a two count.

With Mack staggering a bit, Hurricane heads to the top and hits a high cross body.

He hooks the legs and gets the 1-2-3 pin! After the match, Mack attacks Hurricane from behind but Rosey makes the save. Swinging sidewalk slam and Mack bails out as Hurricane and Rosey pose for the audience.

Before going to commercial, they anounce that Kevin Nash will join Chris Jericho on the Highlight Reel next.

Jericho comes out and says that he wants to clarify some rumors about the hair vs. hair match, namely the rules. Jericho says that when he beats Kevin Nash, he will forced to cut off his fuzzy hair right off his head. And if he loses, if anyone even thinks that he will lose, he guarantees to shave off all his facial hair. He asks us if we really think that he'd put his lucious locks on the line in this hair vs. hair match? He goes on a bit more about how he can't lose his hair until Kevin Nash interrupts him.

Nash comes down with a silver briefcase. He sits down and says that the problem is that Jericho sees this match as losing his hair, but he sees this as a chance to change your image, a makeover if you will. They air a little animation on the TV showing how Jericho would look without any hair and with various other hairdos.

Jericho mockingly laughs at Nash saying he's a funny guy. But you know what's funny - when he eliminates Nash from the elimination chamber match.

Jericho then says that Nash has no idea how vicious a match like this is. He'll just eliminate everyone and put that belt around his waist. Jericho then calls Kevin "Nash-hole". Nash gets up and opens the suitcase to reveal some clippers. They talk away until Jericho finally accepts the match but says it will take place next week on RAW. He tells Nash to pack up his stuff and leave but Nash says he will leave when he wants to. As he turns around, Jericho attacks him but Nash fights back.

Nash throws Jericho to the outside. He grabs the scissors and the clippers and goes after Jericho who begs him to stop.

Jericho tries to run under the ring, but Nash grabs him by the back on the shirt/pants. As Jericho is pulled away, Jericho sprays him in the face with a fire extinguisher and runs away.

Backstage, we see Randy Orton and Ric Flair making their way down the hallway in preparation for the upcoming Flair/Goldberg match.

No DQ, No Count Out - Special Guest Referee: Randy Orton - Goldberg vs. Ric Flair

Randy Orton is introduced as the special guest referee before either Flair or Goldberg come out. They show clips from last week where the Evolution beat up Goldberg. Before the match, Orton hands something (brass knucks) to Flair and with Goldberg distracted, Flair nails him in the head with it.

Quick cover and a super quick count but Goldberg gets his shoulder up before three. Backdrop by Flair.

Flair tries for another cover and Orton counts quickly again but Goldberg kicks out and jumps up. He bodypresses Flair and slams him before hitting a back bodydrop.

Clothesline by Goldberg followed by a powerslam. He goes for the cover but Orton counts extremely slow so Goldberg gets up and goes after him. Another cover and another slow count so Goldberg chases Orton around once more. He tells him do his job and then shoves Orton. From behind, Flair hits Goldberg with a chair but Goldberg springs right back and grabs both Evolution members by the throat.

Low-blow by Flair drops Goldberg and so he puts the Figure Four leglock on.

Goldberg finally reaches the ropes but instead of breaking the hold, Orton starts kicking his arm, trying to get him to let go of the ropes.

Match progresses forward until Goldberg hits a back bodydrop on both Orton and Flair. He sets up for the spear but Orton gets in the way so he nails him instead. Flair thumbs Goldberg in the eye but Goldberg drops him with a tackle prompting Shawn Michaels to come running out. Michaels goes face to face with Goldberg but then turns around hits the Sweet Chin Music on Orton. Goldberg then hits the Jackhammer but Orton is out so Michaels picks his hand up and counts the 1-2-3 for him!

Goldberg wins.

RAW ratings:

This week's RAW rating dropped from 4.0 to a 3.9. It's nothing to be alarmed about, but still a wake-up call that WWE is in a bit of a weaker point now that the Kane angle's effects have worn off.

One thing to note is that the Goldberg/Flair main event only did a 4.5 rating for the overrun. Since the recent overruns have all done in excess of 5, that definitely did nothing to keep the rating above a 4.0, while the previous overruns did a lot for the recent ratings success.
