RAW Results July 21st:
We start with video of Kane's recent attacks, as well as those of Steve Austin. The video then plays of Kane burning Jim Ross while could do nothing but look on. It ends with Eric Bischoff breaking the news that Austin's actions have caused Linda McMahon to come to tonight's Raw to fire him as Co-General Manager.
The Raw music video plays, the pyros explode, and we are LIVE from Los Angeles, California, welcomed by The Coach and The King. Tonight, Kane will face Rob Van Dam and Chris Jericho will get his rematch against Shawn Michaels, but first...
Eric Bischoff, without neckbrace, smiles in the middle of the ring as he announces that Stone Cold's run as Co-GM ends tonight. Bischoff and JR have never been friends, but it is Bischoff's belief that no one should ever be set on fire. It is his belief that JR's injuries are a direct result of Stone Cold's actions and his neglegence.
Linda's music hits, and everyone's favorite McMahon family matriarch comes to the ring. Bischoff makes himself look pretty before addressing Mrs. McMahon, but Linda tells him to stop talking and listen. It would seem that Bischoff is wrong: Austin is not responsible for Kane's actions; Kane is. Even though JR has not pressed charges against Kane, he is under house arrest and has been ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluation. But one of the conditions of house arrest is that it allows the detainee to earn a living, and as such, Kane will be allowed to come and face RVD.
Bischoff says he shouldn't have gone off on the Kane tangent. They should focus on Stone Cold's firing. Magically, the glass breaks, and Steve Austin joins the in-ring meeting. Austin tells Linda that he is not going to appologize for anything he has done during his tenure as Co-GM of Raw. If JR doesn't want to press charges against Kane, that's fine because it allows Stone Cold to whip Kane's ass in his own way tonight. Bischoff says that this is the exact attitude that is going to get him fired tonight.
"Wrong, Eric." Linda never told Bischoff that she was coming to fire Stone Cold. She said she was coming to address a problem with the General Manager's office. And they do have a problem. Steve chose to be a GM. A good GM takes responsibility for his actions, and he has done that. A good GM creates an exciting product, and he has done that. But a good GM doesn't go around beating up on WWE Superstars. So, if Austin wants to remain a GM, he can't put his hands on anybody any longer. Bischoff gets in Austin's face, causing Linda to provide a caveat; Austin can't attack unless physically provoked. Austin asks if he beats up Kane, he loses his General Manager job. Linda says that it's correct. Austin says that gives him something to think about. Linda tells Austin that he should think about the fact that if Austin gets fired, she won't look for a replacement; she'll hand total control over to Bischoff. She asks what Austin's decision is, but Stone Cold says he has to think about it. Linda gives him a week to think about it, but she also gives him the night off. Bischoff begins singing the "Na Na Na Na" song, causing Linda to give him the night off as well. Bischoff leaves, prompting Stone Cold to drink some beer and, just in case this is his last week as Co-GM, thanks Linda for the memories.

Triple H leaves the announce booth and gives Randy Orton the brand new Evolution shirt, which reads "Paid, Laid, and Maid" because that is what they are. They are the Evolution and not a damn person can stop them.
The drums beat and the sparks fly, as Goldberg comes down to the ring. He gets forehead-to-forehead with Triple H before addressing him.
Trips comes out and says he's the best, like he's invincible. Well maybe that's in his own eyes, because to Goldberg, he's nothing but another victim. More than that, he's next. Goldberg takes his shirt off, prepared to fight all three members of Evolution. Triple H calls Orton off, saying that they'll fight on his turf. With that, Evolution leave the ring.
In the back, Orton is upset that they didn't attack Goldberg, but Triple H and Flair tell him that people will learn that they do things on their own time on their own turf. They tell Orton the plan and tell him to make a name for himself.
