That was very impressive indeed, but unfortunately 4-0 was the final result.

Real Zaragoza are in the Final and their chance to play UEFA Cup Football next season becomes more realistic by the week.

Saturday 18th February
Villarreal 4-0 Espanyol
Barcelona 5-1 Real Betis
Real Madrid 3-0 Alaves
Sevilla 1-0 Celta

GOALS!

Valencia play this evening against Real Sociedad. If they win, they'll move up to 2nd place again. Let me say something risky:

If Valencia win today, which will mean the gap to Barcelona is 6 points, I think we could be in for an exciting battle to the end.

And maybe with Valencia as Champion ...

Sunday's results!

Sunday 26th February
Athletic 1-1 Villarreal
Real Betis 2-0 Sociedad
Valencia 1-1 Getafe
Espanyol 5-0 Sevilla
Celta 2-0 Cadiz
Alaves 2-2 Santander
Real Mallorca 2-1 Real Madrid
Osasuna 1-2 Deportivo

Barcelona lead with 58 points, 8-point gap to Valencia who have 50 points. Madrid are 3th with 48 and Osasuna look able to take a CLQR ticket?

5. Celta. 42
6. Sevilla. 41
7. Deportivo. 40
8. Villarreal. 39
9. Atletico Madrid. 38

The teams that are ranked between 12th & 20th place are all not safe, exciting!

What do you all think of the incident around Eto'o?

Saturday 4th March
Villarreal 3-2 Alaves
Cadiz 2-0 Espanyol
Real Madrid 2-1 Atletico Madrid
Barcelona 3-2 Deportivo

As expected, close wins for Barce & Real.

Currently, I see Alaves avoiding relegation and Espanyol having a difficult end of the season.

How do you win with 5-0 and lose the week after with 2-0?

Barcelona already have it IMO.

The race for 4th place is the one I'm excited about. Could Osasuna or Celta Vigo grab it!?

That was an incident, a while ago. Eto'o had almost walked away after terrible monkey noises in the stadium by Zaragoza 'fans'.
