Tonight there's still Leiria - Sporting Braga, but the first Portugese weekend doesn't look so exciting yet.

But maybe the numbers don't say all, did anyone see a match(es)?

Benfica lost to a goal by Manuel Antonio and an own goal from Anderson. Benfica wasted so many chances and even had a penalty saved.

Portugese Competition -

Overall, it's pretty good so far. Porto and Sporting Lisbon (title candidates) are doing well with 6 points after 2 matches. Rio Ave and Gil Vicente are nice surprises. I'm curious to see if Benfica can perform better when the league continues, which will be after the WC Qualifications.
