Wales could easily cause some upsets in this group as they already have done (beating Finland 2-0 away from home) and Italy aren't as strong as we think.

RoM - Yeah, it's good that they lost 5-0, but it gives France a big cushion of goal difference.

Wales are strong now and I think its the first time that any of their players would fit strongly into any premiership team. Italy struggled in their last match. They had to call up Massimo Maccarone.

Maccarone isn't a bad player but I would be very surprised to see him in the team with Vieri and Totti avaliable.

It will be intimidating for Italy. If they win they'll be in control of their group.

Imagine what it would be like if they could actually qualify for Euro 2004! There would eb a big celebration if that happened.

Absolutely, Ryan Giggs has always dreamed of playing for Wales in an International tournament so I would be delighted for him. He could have taken the easier option and gone for England but he stuck to his roots and played for Wales.. Good luck.. Do it for him!

I wouldn't be surprised if Giggs scores the winning goal that gets them to Euro 2004 and scores a few along the way. A player of his talent definitely deserves an international tournamnet to play in. Keep your fingers crossed.
