| The Wings are finished.....Giguiere is too hot for you guys to beat and the difference is he's way better than Dan Cloutier.
Go Anaheim GO!!
Now the Detroit fans can feel the pain of CUJO choke like he did when he was in Toronto.
Cujo is a joke.......CU-JOKE or more like it CU-CHOKE |

| Damn, the Blues made a run for it at the end of tonight's game. Just came up a little short. Seemed to be a good gaem though, from the couple bits and pieces I heard at work.
Series tied at 1. |

| not only is js giguere better than cloutier, but you're forgetting the wings are missing their two best players from last year:
dominik hasek and steve yzerman....
hasek single handedly turned that series around, and stevie y is not the player he was last year.. in fact, he's the only professional athlete to EVER come back from the surgery he had... its amazing he's even walking, let alone playing... much love to stevie y, but the wings are finished.
canucks played AMAZING tonight... THAT was the team ive followed all year long.. now the nhl's best team on the road takes the show to st.louis... |

The Blues and Canucks have played eachother six times this year. The Canucks have wone 3, the Blues 2 and there was one tie. The Blues only won one of the regular season games, and that game took place in St. Louis. The Blues were 23-11-4-3 at home in the season, yet the Canucks were 23-10-7-1 on the road.
So it's hard to say which team is in favor right now as far as the location, the records and the history is concerned. For momentum, the Canucks would probably be favored considering they just won the last game. But then again, there's still the fact that the Blues are on home ice.
I guess it all really comes down to the players in this case. I still maintain that the Blues can win if Osgood can hold the Canucks to one goal or less, provided the Blues score against the Canucks goalie. |

| the blues are missing norris candidate al macinnis after bertuzzi's monstrous hit 2 minutes into the last game... word is he'll probably be gone for the rest of the series with a seperated shoulder... stillman didn't skate saturday morning so he still might be doubtful for monday...
on our side, we got ruutu and ohlund back in the lineup, and ohlund was our number one guy in minutes... which means the blues lost their number one assist getter, in our "defenseman" brent sopel... thankfully ohlund's back to cover for that guy's sorry ass...
as for home ice advantage, the nucks admit they play a better game on the road, because they dont feel the need to put on a show for the fans....
looking back now, im glad the blues won 6-0 and not 2-1 or something close... it was a total wakeup call for our boys, and they responded...
now the series begins!
hey dave, i was out at a bar (in ontario) for the first wings game, and the place erupted when kariya scored that ot winner... ontario hates cujo, i hate the wings... looks like we have one thing in common to cheer for eh? |

Yeah, I really never liked CUJO.....and when he left toronto for detroit and made that pathetic speech at the press conference about if he doesn't win the cup in detroit that he wants toronto to win it and he was crying crocodile tears and shit.....it looked so phony....then an hour later he shows up at the detroit press conference all happy and cheery....this guy is such a 2-face.
Anaheim Ducks in 5......book it
Toronto Maple Leafs in 6....book it
Vancouver Canucks in 6.....book it
Minnesota Wild in 7....book it
Dallas Stars in 6...book it
New Jersey Devils in 5...book it
NY Islanders in 7....book it
Washington Capitals in 6...book it |

| islanders in 7? are you kidding me? dont let the opening day jitters fool you, ottawa is for real... the only way any 30 point underdog could steal a series is with goaltending, a la giguere...
garth snow?! that guy's more useless than a bag of pucks, in fact, thats what i think we got for him when we dealt away his sorry but...
they should play dipietro and at least get him some experience for the future... |

| Wings are down 3 now and only two teams have ever come back from 3 down. Do you think they can do it? personally i dont. Wild are down 2-1 now and they need to win tomorrow night or the series will be over saturday in Denver
