I agree with you about Dallas and Edmonton. The ARE always playing eachother. But, NOW I have decided that the Oilers can take the series. I'm looking for this one to go to 7 games.
Osgood...basically SUCKS. I know that St. Louis has Pronger (if he's back yet) and MacInnis and Tkachuk and SO ON...but having those big names don't mean a damn thing. They got talent to back it up, but the Blues ALWAYS seem to *ahem* choke. Now, I like Vancouvers chances. One word: BERTUZZI. Forget the goaltending, that's already intact, just think of him. He's going to lead this team. |

| The day the Blues finally win the Stanley Cup (it has to happen sooner or later), will be a damn glorious one. I just hope that they can do it this year when I still have time to watch sports regularly.
You know, they could be in the finals every year with a great goaltender. I don't know why they don't make a trade for a star goaltender. |

whether its 2-1 in overtime, or 6-0 in regulation, a loss is a loss...

| Wild played a great game tonight. it was big for them to win atleast one at Colorado. Plus the Gophers have return to the Frozen Four Championship game with a 3-2 OT win over Michigan

| jackman for calder? he's got tough competition in zetterberg, but for a defenseman to play as good as he has in his first year, i think he totally deserves it...
i think something really funny happened this year, and might be explaining all the first round upsets...
usually, in the playoff race, you have the lower teams competing for a playoff spot... not so this year... with 10 games left in the season, edmonton pretty much had 8th locked up... so the bottom 4 seeds, more or less knew where they were gunna be...
but at the top, you had the 4 top teams, battling for top spot in the west... having to play extra hard, when usually this is rest time for them... maybe that explains the opening day jitters for the top seeds who knows...
but the way vancouver's played down the stretch, it doesn't seem like they were battling for anything =| |
