It's kind of interesting that the 2003-2004 Stanley Cup Champions only barely made it to the playoffs. I hope Ottawa shuts them right out of the playoffs. I'd like to see Tampa kicked out in Game 4 (Muahahaha).

I'm also happy to see two Alberta teams in the Western Conference.

But, as always GO FLAMES GO.

As of today, two teams have been eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs: New York Rangers were completely shut out by the New Jersey Devils who won the first four games of round 1, and last season's Stanley Cup Champions Tampa Bay Lightning were defeated by the Ottawa Senators to knock them out of the running.

Also, in today's other two games, Edmonton Oilers defeated Detroit Red Wings 3-2 to give them a series lead of 3-2. Calgary Flames had an identical match with Anaheim Mighty Ducks to bring their series score to 3 - 2 as well.

Well, Flames are out. That's shite. I hope the Mighty Ducks win the next round and then get defeated in the western finals, only to have Ottawa take the cup!

I havent really been keeping track with Hockey, I used to alot before the WWE won me over LOL! I still like the NHL though. Glad the Ducks are moving on {sorry Brandon!} at least the Flames where in the playoffs unlike the stupid Kings! OH well. Its weird how a teams wins the Cup the following year to only get knocked out of the 1st round the next.

Yeah, that is pretty funny actually. Though, Calgary was in the Stanley Cup finals last year and got kicked out in the first round as well. Actually, all things considered, they made it to Game 7 and Tampa only won by one point... the way I look at it, both teams were pretty much equal last season. So that makes it interesting that both are out so soon.

Go Ducks Go!
