Last year we didn't have a specific thread for the French. They probably weren't happy with that.
Anyways ... hopefully there will be enough (some) people who like to follow it and post here, because the title race of 03-04 was
very exciting. Lyon, Paris SG and Monaco went for the title and the CL spott.
Olympique Lyon:
They were the ones who got the #1 spott (79 points).
Changes? Definitely!
Defender Edmilson went to Barcelona. Sad for them, but very good for Barcelona.
Paris SG:
They ended #2 last season, which was a pretty good result (76 points).
More info/transfer news on them? Bring it on!
Monaco:
What an amazing result for Deschamps last season. CL Final and still ending third in the competition (75 points). Guily is gone though ... also to Barcelona!
And Dado Prso ( 4 goals in a CL match
) made a switch that not many people will understand, he went to Glasgow Rangers.
Caen, Istres, Olympique Nice:
Honestly, pretty unknown teams to me.
But I assume Olympique Nice is Olympique's Lyon little brother?
