i was just over at themayhem.com and they are reporting this about HBK:

--It is a known fact that Shawn Michaels has had talks with Vince McMahon about returning to WWF television, in whatever role possible. He was rumored to appear on this week’s Smackdown, however he didn’t show up. Just to note, he was backstage meeting with friends. Michaels was rumored to be announced as a special guest referee in the Undisputed Title match between Chris Jericho and Triple H, which could still happen. However, SLAM! Wrestling reports that if Michaels is brought back on television, he could perhaps be a guest referee in the main event match between The Rock and Hulk Hogan. The WWF could either have Michaels cost The Rock the match and join the nWo, or Michaels could cost Hogan the match, perhaps a prelude to the reformation of D-X.

DX without Road Dogg Jesse James? And Bad Ass Billy Gunn is playing around with Chucky now, I dunno. I see X-pac joining the nWo soon. Considering how Dusty Rhodes joined the original nWo, it seems very likely that Michaels will. Though nothing about him joining or forming anything is certain.

For now, I think he WILL be at WrestleMania somehow.
