Thats not a good start but its early days. Players need time to get their match fitness up.

Nonetheless, I think we can say goodbye to Standard's aspirations of winning the title.

Saturday 5th August
Lierse 0-3 Genk
Cercle Brugge 0-0 Lokeren
Anderlecht 1-0 GBA
Gent 1-3 Mouscron
Beveren 0-3 Westerlo
Zulte-Waregem 0-1 Brussels
Mons 2-0 St-Truiden

What a fantastic start of the new season!

Both Lierse & Beveren were being overclassed last night, the score should have been much higher.

A new referee was leading Anderlecht - GBA and he didn't do such a good job in his first match on the highest level. He refused to give GBA a 100% penalty, but gave Anderlecht one when Boussoufa let himself fall on the ground, without being touched by a GBA-player.

Mouscron have the topscorer, Custovic. He scored twice last night and he's on 3 already.

Westerlo, Mouscron & Brussels have 6 points. Gent, Standard & Zulte-Waregem still have 0 points. The important people around Gent aren't too happy with the results so far and Leekens (trainer) does already have to fear for what's going to happen ...

Sunday 6th August
Roeselare 3-2 Club Brugge

Close match? Absolutely not! Roeselare were leading with 3-0 and Brugge were lucky to get in two goals. Club Brugge have it always tough when they play away and maybe they were already looking forward into this week? 'Cause this week there are qualifying matches for Champions League and UEFA Cup.

In two weeks, we have a big one planned, Genk - Standard.

After a 5-0 opening to their season, that was a porr result.. Brugge already have a 3 points deficit to Anderlecht.

Not many surprises last night, but take a look at Mouscron. Seven points after 3 matches and they have Custovic. Last night he scored twice, again. Custovic is leading the topscorer list with 5 goals after 3 matches!

Tonight it's Westerlo - Anderlecht --> I'm watching that one live!

That Anderlecht match last Sunday (20th August) was amazing, 3-4 in Anderlecht's advantage!

Saturday 27th August
Standard 1-1 Zulte-Waregem
Cercle Brugge 0-1 Genk
Beveren 3-1 Mouscron
Lierse 0-1 Brussels
St-Truiden 2-0 GBA
Mons 1-1 Westerlo

Standard/Boskamp (trainer) are in serious trouble. Last week they got knocked out in the 3rd Qualification Round for the CL against Steau Bucharest (2-1) and yesterday they again didn't manage to win. Two points after 4 matches.

In 2 matches Beveren scored 0 times and this weekend they kicked 3 balls in! Football

Tonight --> ANDERLECHT - CLUB BRUGGE

Sunday 27th August
Roeselare 2-2 Lokeren
Gent 2-1 Charleroi
Anderlecht 1-0 Club Brugge

Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to watch the topmatch. I saw Gent - Charleroi live.

Tchite was responsible for the only goal in the Anderlecht - Brugge match, already his 6th of the season!
