Eek! Japan vs Belgium

The first half was boring, but the second half was awsome!

When Belgium first scored (in second half by Wilmots) I thought "thats it! Japan lost in their own country in the opening match " but out of no where Japan scored (by Suzuki)making it 1 - 1. I was suprised because of the way Japan played in the first half.

But the game gets even more interesting

15 mins to the end, Japan really gets the game going by Inamoto rushing through the Belgium defense (on his own) and scoring a goal and the crowd was just loud crazy (I was shocked, lol) and felt that Japan could really win this (what a twist!!!). By now Belgium had to boost themselves to get equal (and so they did ) by a free kick (or corner, i think) by Van Der Heydnen making the score 2 - 2 (which is the final)

Japan would have won by Inamoto scoring again (the ball went in) if it wasnt an offside! but overall the game was good

Next game Korea vs Poland, in Korea! will Korea have the same fate as Japan or worse or better? they are definitly under pressure not only cause of them playing in their own country but cause Japan didnt loose in theirs (and almost won)

Thanks for the summary. I havenīt seen the game.
2-2, for who is that good ?
I donīt think for Belgium and also not for Japan.
A lot is gonna depend from the next game from both countries.

Yeah, I watched the game. The first half was indeed extremely boring. I really wanted Japan to win, since the whole thing is taking place there. I thought it was great how not even a minute after Belgium scored, Japan did. Ahh, that rocked. Too bad Belgium caught up towards the end, making it a tie, 2-2.

Cool

Korea won in their match, scoring in the first half and second half, wining their first match (they never won before) in the World Cup (and it started in their own country)

But Belgium has lots of chances though to reach the next round.
BTW: Really nice goal from Wilmots!
