An unfortunate accident paralleled by even a more unfortunate system called the "smack factor" used by major entities.
I coulda sworn major entities stopped using the "This is a sad day for all of us, and we mourn the loss of (person). We wish them the very best in their road to recovery." line and started actually showing themselves up on what they do for people when this stuff happens. 3000+ people die in the WTC attacks and we're still hearing about it to this day. 1 person dies at a hockey game, and they say one line and CLOSE IT. That apparently is telling me that the 1 person is less imporant than the 3000 people that died.
Bastards can't get up and say "Oh.. the next game is in her memory" or even giving up a moment of time in her honor at one of their games. They just use the one liner and continue.
Wonderful how money overpowers life in this day and age.
It's very unfortunate she died, but she'll end up just becoming a media spectacle and then fade away.
Such is life though..
