Bridgestone have to make improvements and they now say they have, being the only team that uses them makes it so much harder for Ferrari.

lol at this story.

McLaren-Mercedes have confirmed that Juan Pablo Montoya will not be able to compete in this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix, as a result of an injury he sustained whilst playing tennis during the Easter weekend.

Montoya was playing tennis with his personal trainer in Madrid, Spain, on Saturday morning when he slipped and fell, sustaining a minor hairline fracture to his left scapula (shoulderblade).

Following a number of tests, scans and an examination by one of McLaren's medical consultants, the team has been advised that the Colombian should rest to allow for the injury to heal.

Very impressive performance from Wurz today. 24 hours ago he had never driven the new McLaren car and had never done a lap of this circuit! I can understand why he isn't racing ahead of De La Rosa, but surely Wurz has a chance of being a race driver again one day.

The other test drivers were impressive too, but you have to take into consideration that they're able to drive flat out as there is no need for engine or tyre protection!

Ferrari - faster .. the rest are pretty consistant from what we've already seen this season. I expect to see Renault, Ferrari, McLaren (hopefully!) and Toyota challenging for the race win.

Nice and close at the top with less than a second covering the 2 Williams cars in 1st and 10th. Toyota, Mc Laren and Renault all look strong, but neither of the teams seem to be dominant. I think we're in for another exciting race but lets see how qualifying goes first.

Gert-Jan, your psychic skills are just getting better and better!

Alonso and Trulli are the top 2 once again (for now) and Schumacher is back to being fast (not quite as fast as last year - good thing) Barrichello made a mistake, but it seemed to only cost him 0.8 of a second, which doesn't mean his time would have been impressive anyway! McLaren are still yet to find the sweet spot in their new car for qualifying.
