Kimi Raikkonen does it again in qualifying!

The McLarens were showing they had a good edge over Renault during every practice session and this performance underlines that fact.

If Montoya hadn't crashed into the barrier on the very last corner - Ouch! - then McLaren would have had a 1-2. Advantage Raikkonen in the drivers title .. advantage Renault in the constructors.
BAR are continuing to make good progress, but Sato must be feeling a bit disappointed with his lap knowing that Button was almost a second faster. Williams seem to be taking a step forward too, but as for Ferrari, things aren't getting better. Despite Schumachers lap - which is down to the driver and a low fuel strategy - Ferrari have been slow all weekend, a fact highlighted by Barrichello managing to go only 1.3 seconds faster than a Minardi. The gap between Ferrari and Minardi this time last season was 5.5 seconds!
Toyota, Sauber and Red Bull all look strong enough to challenge for a low points finish. I expect a good battle in amongst the midfield cars, but a fair gap between them and the front runners.
