Bloody hell! .. does Alonso want to throw away the title!? :s

Renault won't be using their mass dampners this weekend, due to the overhanging shadow of a possible FIA punishment .. and for what!? Apparently having a piece of technology that assists in the aerodymanic performance of the car (illegally), but having their regulations state that an aerodymanic device which would be illegally helping performance as something fitted on the outside of the car. Hmmm.. is it just me, or are these dampners on the inside of the car!? So, where is the FIA's braincell right now?

Who can say 'the FIA are stupid' 100 times!?

Now this is a great grid!

Hungarian GP Grid
1. K.Raikkonen
2. F.Massa
3. R.Barrichello
4. P.De La Rosa
5. M.Webber
6. R.Schumacher
7. G.Fisichella
8. J.Trulli
9. R.Kubica
10. N.Heidfeld
11. M.Schumacher
12. D.Coulthard
13. C.Klien
14. J.Button
15. F.Alonso
16. T.Monteiro
17. V.Liuzzi
18. N.Rosberg
19. S.Speed
20. T.Sato
21. C.Albers
22. S.Yamamoto

Pole for Raikkonen! The McLaren looks on form this weekend, as Raikkonen beat Massa to pole by 0.3s. Honda would have had 3rd and 4th places if Button hadn't received a 10 place engine penalty during practice this morning. M.Webber put in a fantastic lap to start 5th! (how must Rosberg be feeling now!?) Fisichella seems to be fuelled a bit longer, as his fastest lap was over a second slower than Raikkonen's.

M.Schumacher will start from 11th, with Alonso 4 places further back in 15th. Comparing their times from the second session, Ferrari don't have that much of an advantage over Renault in raw pace, and it is the general impression that Michellin tyres will lwork better over longer stints. So, it could be close between these two, but can either pull the rabbit out of the bag and win!? I'm rooting for a Raikkonen win.

Kubica qualified 9th on his F1 debut, while Heidfeld couldn't even make it into the top 10. Fantastic performance from the Pole.

Prediction League

Pole: K.Raikkonen

Points Lost -

Lizzy - 0
Gert-jan - 3
Neil - 0

Total Points After Quali
1. Neil. 293.
2. Gert-Jan. 274.
3. Lizzy. 220.
