Nothing to choose between Renault and Ferrari. Alonso was able to match the pace of Massa, who was holding up the World Champion so Schumacher could get away, up until his first pit-stop. Once Alonso was on a heavier fuel load, he began to fall away a little bit, but the strategy paid off in the end with a 2nd place! Renault have an improved package for Hockenheim in 2 weeks, which should give them 0.3-0.4s more pace. That'll be another close one! If Michelin have the advantage Renault should win, but if Bridgestone have the advantage then M.Schumacher might make it 3 in a row.
McLaren were beaten by Toyota today! I imagine if Trulli had finished then he would have been ahead of R.Schumacher, and so both McLarens as well. Its great to see 4 teams who aren't that far off the pace of each other!
Red Bull just managed to beat their 'baby' team today.
